The Green Bay Packers welcomes San Francisco this Sunday as the clear NFL odds home favorite. Should the 49ers should be frightened as Rodgers and the Packers come to their house this weekend?

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -8.5 -105 at Pinnacle
Green Bay opened up as an 8.5-point favorite on the road in San Francisco and the NFL odds have gone down to -8, which is still a huge line for a road favorite. However, you cant understate how highly the sportsbooks think of a good quarterback and Rodgers is probably the best in the NFL right now; only New England's Tom Brady is in the conversation with him. The San Francisco defense has looked just awful over the last couple weeks and you have to take into account that they've played on the road in those two games. They have to be better at home.....right? They gave up a field goal to the Vikings on Monday night in Week 1, but the Packers aren't the Vikings.

For the Packers, TE Andrew Quarless will be out until around Week 12 because of a knee injury, while WR Davante Adams has an ankle injury that should keep him out of this game. However, it should be noted that Adams was seen without a walking boot, so the injury isn't as bad as was initially thought to be. S Morgan Burnett still isn't recovered from an ailing calf, but DT Letroy Guion is back in practice after serving a three-game suspension.

RB Reggie Bush returned to practice for the 49ers after a calf strain in the season opener, while TE Vernon Davis (knee) and NaVarro Bowman (knee) didn't practice. Both are expected to play on Sunday, however, as the 49ers need all the help they can get.

The Packers are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 overall, and on the road, Green Bay has a 5-5 record in the SU and ATS columns over their last 10. San Francisco is 4-6 SU and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 overall games, and 6-4 SU in their last 10 home games, but still 2-8 ATS.

Green Bay is 6-4 SU in their last 10 against the 49ers, going 5-3-2 ATS, and in San Francisco the Packers are even better, going 6-3 SU and 6-2-1 ATS in nine games.
