Denver is flying high at 9-2 as they handed New England their first loss of the season. They head to San Diego, where the Chargers are 3-8, but they halted a 6-game skid with a win in Jacksonville.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -4 -105 at Pinnacle
The Broncos came out as 4-point favorites on the road in this AFC West contest, and after a brief stint at -4.5, the NFL odds went back to -4. Denver is now 2-0 with Brock Osweiler at the helm and while he wasn't great in a 30-24 win over the Patriots, he calmed down after a tough opening half. Furthermore, he doesn't turn the ball over like Peyton Manning and that gives the team a chance to win every time out. The Chargers dropped 21 points in the second quarter of a 31-25 win over the Jaguars on the road and while they didn't look great the rest of the time, it was a start. If nothing else, the Chargers would like to have a successful December so they can take something into 2016. However, there are bigger things brewing as San Diego might lose the team and that might be the storyline for the rest of the season.

DE DeMarcus Ware was at least in uniform at practice on Wednesday, but he probably won't return from his back injury this week. G Louis Vasquez (groin), S T.J. Ward (ankle) and NT Sylvester Williams (ankle) didn't practice. Of course, neither did QB Manning, who has a foot problem. That being said, if he was healthy, Osweiler would probably still be starting.

For the Chargers, QB Philip Rivers was on the injury report with a foot injury. But he practiced fully and he'll be out there on Sunday. G D.J. Fluker is still battling a concussion, while T King Dunlap (ankle) and T Chris Hairston (abdomen) were limited in practice.

The Broncos are 6-4-1 ATS this season, going 3-2-1 ATS on the road. The Chargers are 4-7 ATS, but just 1-5 ATS at home. The total sits at 43 and the Broncos have gone under five times, along with two pushes. The Chargers have gone under six times.

Denver is 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Chargers, and they're 6-4 SU and ATS in their last 10 trips to San Diego.
