Baltimore Ravens look to heap more misery on the Cleveland Browns in week 10 as the pair collide in Thursday Night Football. Here’s a mini-betting preview complete with SU, ATS and Total picks.

Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens

Point Spread Value

The Thursday Night football clash between divisional rivals Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens boasts one of the largest spreads of the week. At face value, it looks to be a lot of points to be laying with the Ravens, despite the 21-14 win over the Steelers last week. The Steelers were banged up, Big Ben wasn’t 100% and the game itself was all over the place. Not much takeaway in that.  Then there is the fact that the Ravens were riding a three-game losing streak before the win in week 9 and boast a 3-5-0 ATS record with a 0.1 winning margin and -0.9 differential versus the spread. On the flipside, the Browns are coming off a demoralising 35-10 loss to the Cowboys and slip to a 2-7-0 ATS record with an -11.7 losing margin on average and -4.6 record versus the spread. In a nutshell, it’s the case of two disappointing sides for different reasons. A decision about which team is worse. No guesses to which that is.

The Survivor

On the surface, this looks to be the most straightforward game. Hence, the most obvious SU week 10 NFL pick of the lot. The Browns make a strong case for a 0-16 record on the season. Just seven weeks to go in the regular season and not even a whiff of a W. Whether that actually happens or not remains to be seen, but until they can actually win a game we can’t recommend a bet on the Browns in this market. It’s not even a consideration. Keep in mind, this is going to be a bit of a must-win game for the Ravens, who now find themselves, all of a sudden, leading the AFC North pack with a 4-4-0 SU record.

Game Total

Baltimore’s offense is inconsistent and unconvincing and, crucially, struggling to put up points. No surprise to see the Ravens with a 3-5-0 OVER record going into week 10. The opposite is the case for the Browns, who are 6-3-0 in O/U betting. However, it’s not a credit to their offense. On the contrary, offensive mistakes and the defense letting up are contributing to the OVER.
