Chicago played last night in Atlanta and now they are faced with a much slower paced game in Miami on Thursday. While last night was high scoring, off the back to back Chicago’s offense might falter in Dwyane Wade’s return to Miami.

 Chicago Bulls vs Miami Heat

Chicago played tough on Wednesday but ultimately lost to the very god Hawks in Atlanta. Now, on the second night of a back to back, the Bulls head into Miami to play the Heat. Even though it’s Dwyane Wade’s return to Miami, coming off playing 34 minutes last night might hurt his chances of playing tonight.

The NBA Odds have the Bulls as +2 underdogs coming off their loss last night, but the better play for this one might be the total of an even 200 points. Even though it’s risen since it opened at 198 ½, I think this total is going in the wrong direction.

The Bulls are playing pretty slow this season, as is Miami. Chicago is playing at a pace of 95.7 possessions per 48 minutes, while the Heat are even slower at 94.8.

Along with their strong efforts on defense, especially the rested Heat, Chicago might not score more than 90 or 95 points in this one. They are coming off a high scoring game too, but against a team like the Hawks who play quickly, things will slow down significantly tonight. I see both teams falling below 200 points, so take the under for you NBA picks.
