Saskatchewan Overview

After closing-out the 2012 season with five losses both straight-up and against the spread, the Roughriders have become an early moneymaker this season with a 4-0 start both SU and ATS. In the first of this home-and-home series against Hamilton they trounced the T-Cats at home 37-0 as 7.5-point favorites. They have now outscored their opponents this season by a total of 84 points, pushing the total 'Over' in three of their four games.

Saskatchewan has been getting it done on both sides of the ball with an offense that leads the CFL in scoring with 37.8 points a game complementing a stingy defense that has only allowed an average of 16.7 points a game. This combination clearly makes the Roughriders the early team to beat in the CFL.

Hamilton Overview

Hamilton’s lone win of the season as compared to three losses was a 25-20 victory over Winnipeg in Week 3 as a 5.5-point home favorite. It is 0-4 ATS this season and the total has stayed 'Under' in its last three games. The Tiger-Cats have scored the second-fewest points in the CFL (79) and they are ranked dead-last in total points allowed (126).

If it is going to have any chance at keeping this game close, Hamilton is going to need a big night from quarterback Henry Burris. He is currently ranked second in the CFL in passing yards with 1,115 and he has completed 64.4 percent of his throws. He has six touchdown throws against three interceptions and he has added another 123 yards with his legs. The Tiger-Cats are also going to need their defense to show up this week after falling behind by 16 points at the half and by 23 points heading into the fourth quarter last week against Saskatchewan.
