  • Seahawks pick: AJ Barner, TE (+1300 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Best long shot: Jayden Daniels, QB (+1800 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

💰 Best Seahawks vs. Commanders first touchdown scorer bets: SNF

🟢 AJ Barner (+1300) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Seahawks tight end AJ Barner has been a touchdown magnet this season, relative to his touches.

He's scored four on just 18 receptions and boasts an 81.8% catch rate. Barner also leads all Seahawks pass-catchers in red-zone targets and faces a Commanders defense that hasn't exactly been stingy against opposing tight ends.

Washington has given up five touchdowns to tight ends this season, tied for the fourth-most in the NFL. And with Cooper Kupp questionable for this game, Barner could get even more looks in the red area for Seattle.

Let's back the big pass-catcher to add to his touchdown total with an opening score on Sunday Night Football. A winning $10 bet at DraftKings will bring home a $130 profit with an implied probability of 7.14%.

🎖️ Zach Ertz (+1000) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Zach Ertz has caught a touchdown in four of Jayden Daniels' five starts this season - the tight end's only four TDs in 2025.

With Daniels back in the lineup tonight, we're getting great odds for an Ertz first touchdown score. The pair have linked up for 11 touchdowns dating back to last season, as Ertz is Daniels' go-to guy when Washington nears the opposing end zone.

With bet365 at +800, I'll gladly head to DraftKings for their +1000 odds (9.09%). A $10 wager will net a $100 profit if Ertz catches another score from Daniels.

🎯 Jayden Daniels (+1800) ⭐⭐⭐

The primary reason I'm considering this pick a long shot is that Daniels has been banged up most of the season, and he's returning after missing his third game of the campaign.

But running is a crucial aspect of Daniels' game, even with him nursing an injured hamstring. He's had at least seven carries in every game he's appeared in, and with the 3-5 Commanders' playoff hopes slipping away, he'll be willing to risk re-injury if it means getting his team on the board early tonight against a top NFC contender.

Of the best sports betting sites, bet365 has the best odds on a Daniels first touchdown score (+1800, 5.26%). A winning $10 ticket will net you an $180 profit.
