In this column, we bring you our cutting-edge game-by-game NFL picks against the spread, featuring current NFL odds trading on the NFL odds board. Let’s get started.

NFL Picks Week 12 ATS Recap
In one of the most entertaining weeks of the NFL season, favorites went 10-6 SU and 9-7 ATS over underdogs and home teams went 9-7 SU and 10-6 ATS over road teams. With our NFL picks we were a so-so 7-9 ATS, which sees us improving to 87-84-5 on the season.

Here we look at week 13’s entire slate and serve up our choice ATS predictions for your NFL picks, using current spreads available. Keep in mind those NFL lines continue to move as game time approaches, so make your NFL picks accordingly.

Packers vs. Lions
Advanced lines had the Packers installed as he 6-point road favorites last week. A couple things have happened since then: the Packers lost to the Bears at home in week 12 while the Lions manhandled the Eagles. The upshot of which saw sharp money come down early on the Lions, prompting the NFL line to come down to 3-points. Since early doors, the public has been heavily betting the Packers, convinced they’re going to turn it around on Thursday Night Football. As it is, the Packers have 62% of consensus bets which correlates to almost 90% of the money market on this game. Yet, interestingly, the NFL line continues to move against the Packers as they are now down to 2.5-points at some books. This is a risky play in some respects – there’s the notion that fading the public is a winning strategy. But we’re of the mind – as the public is – the Packers can’t possible lose back-to-back divisional games, not to mention suffer a series sweep by the Lions. We’re taking the Packers and crossing our fingers.

Free NFL Picks: Packers -2.5 (+100) at Pinnacle

Ravens vs. Dolphins
This is going to be one of the least attractive games on the week’s schedule between two teams that boast underwhelming 4-7 SU records on the season. The only difference: Ravens are coming off a win behind back up play from Matt Schaub – give a hand to the backups this season – and the Dolphins are coming off a lacklustre loss at home to the Jets that initiated another firing spree. This game is a total tossup in more ways than one. That said four points does seem a lot to lay with the Dolphins given their current issues. We’re taking the Ravens plus the points.

Free NFL Picks:  Ravens +4 (-110) at Bet365

Falcons vs. Bucs
The Falcons are 6-5 SU but 4-7 ATS, highlighted by just one win in their last six games and a run of five straight losses against the spread. That’s hardly a ringing endorsement of their NFL odds for this game. Granted they might turn things around here. After all, this is a divisional game and they lost to the Bucs earlier this season. Oh, the shame of suffering a series sweep by the Bucs would be unimaginable. This could be a very tight and close game that could go either way, nowhere more so evinced than by the range of NFL lines currently trading – anywhere from a pick’em to 2-points with the Bucs to the good. We’re taking the Bucs as the nominal home faves on our NFL picks.

Free NFL Picks:  Bucs -1 (-110) at William Hill

Bengals vs. Browns
With Josh McCown out for the season the Browns are relying on the unheralded Austin Davis and their problem child Johnny Manziel as the backup. Yikes. Bengals all the way here. Most sportsbooks are offering double-digit spreads, but you can still find 9.5-points trading. So shop around for the best NFL line for you.

Free NFL Picks: Bengals -9.5 (-110) at Bookmaker

Jets vs. Giants
Opinion is split down the middle for this game everywhere, from NFL pundits, experts and analysts alike to sports betting exchanges. The NFL lines opened on Sunday with a pick’em but have moved up to 1-point at some sportsbooks and even higher at others, topping at 2.5-points with the Jets to the good. Consensus betting reveals the public favors the Giants with 55.66% of the bets coming down the wire going towards the G-men. However, it’s interesting to note that the almost 45% bets coming down the wire on the Jets equals the money on the Giants (almost 50-50 split). That’s a good indication sharp money is in the Jets.

Free NFL Picks: Jets -1 (-110) at 5Dimes

Seahawks vs. Vikings
The NFL betting lines on this game have been hopping around since opening on a pick’em on Sunday. What’s more, there have been instances of fence jumping as the Seahawks and Vikings trade favorable status for this game, in proportion to the money coming down the wire. The Vikings are at home and they boast a solid 9-2 ATS mark this season with a 3.4-point winning margin and a plus 3.2-point differential against the spread on average. However, Seattle are just one of those proven teams in recent years that play some of their best football down the stretch. As good as the Vikings are this season, betting against the Seahawks just seems wrong.

Free NFL Picks: Seahawks +1 (-115) at Bet365

Texans vs. Bills
Texans defense has been the backstory behind a four-game winning streak and a return into the playoff picture. It also helps that the Colts’ season hasn’t been up to their usual standard, bursting the AFC South field wide open. As it is, the Texans are in an enviable position for the playoff race and a win over the Bills would go a long way to cementing their claim. The Bills are also in play here but they’re in a slightly tougher position. This is a must-win game for both teams, which suggests it could be a slugfest.

Free NFL Picks:  Texans +3 (+105) at BetOnline

Cardinals vs. Rams
This should be a revenge game for the Cardinals, who lost to the Rams in surprising fashion at home earlier this season. The Rams are in a whole slew of trouble right now and Nick Foles hasn’t been playing up to expectations. The Cardinals are deservedly the road favorites in this game to win outright. Cardinals opened as the 5.5-point favorites and the line has moved up to 6 points in some cases while up to 7 points in other cases. Cardinals are 6-5 ATS with an 11.5-point winning margin and a plus 6.6-point differential against the spread on average. Six points is getting up there and we’re not so fussed about that number, particularly as it is one of the more common score margins in the NFL. You can still find a 5.5-point spread at The Greek though. Jump on it while you can.

Free NFL Picks:  Cardinals -5.5 (-110) at The Greek

Niners vs. Bears
The Bears are just 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS at home with a 7.2-point losing margin and a negative 4.3-point differential against the spread. They’ve perked up lately and won three of their last four games, including an upset over the Packers on the road. However, seven points or higher on the spread does seem a bit much for the Bears against a Niners defense that is coming off a respectable 19-13 loss to the Cardinals.

Free NFL Picks: Niners +8.5 (-115) at 5Dimes

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837172, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Jaguars vs. Titans
This game is a complete and utter tossup on our NFL picks. The Titans are still searching for their first home win while the Jaguars are looking for their first road win of the season. Both are coming off rather disappointing losses in week 12 NFL betting, Titans are favored as the 2.5-point home chalk, a line that hasn’t budged since opening doors. Consensus betting reveals a heavy lean towards the Jaguars with 51.77 % of bets going towards the road dogs. However, the interesting bit, is that of the 48.23% bets on the Titans, the money is substantially greater than that on the Jaguars. As it is, Titans have 61.88% of actual money invested in this game. That’s a potential indication of sharp betting on the Titans. That alone has us considering an NFL pick on the Titans. But do sharp bettors always get it right? No. We’re taking the Jaguars.

Free NFL Picks: Jaguars +2.5 (+104) at Pinnacle

Broncos vs. Chargers
The Broncos enter week 13 NFL betting as the road favorites over the Chargers. Advanced lines had the Broncos favored around a touchdown, but on Sunday those NFL lines reduced to 4-points almost unanimously. Partly down to the Chargers winning over the Jaguars in week 12 NFL betting. That said the Chargers are going to have a tough time against one of the league’s tougher defenses.

Free NFL Picks:  Broncos -3.5 (-110) BetOnline

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837176, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Chiefs vs. Raiders
The Chiefs are riding a three-game winning streak into week 13 NFL betting, which includes five straight covers against the spread. The Oakland Raiders aren’t going to be pushovers and they’ve shown some positive signs this season, but they’ll be put to the test by a determined Chiefs side especially in a game that could have far-reaching playoff consequences.

Free NFL Picks: Chiefs -2.5 (-115) at 5Dimes

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837177, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Panthers vs. Saints
The Panthers are riding roughshod over the NFC and it’s not about to change with a Saints side that leaves much to be desired. The Panthers are a perfect 11-0 SU and 9-2 ATS with an 11.5-point winning margin on average and a plus 8.9-point differential against the spread. Earlier this season, they played a close one with the Saints at home to win 27-22. Given this is the final push towards the playoffs and the Saints have little to play for, this could get ugly against a formidable defense.

Free NFL Picks:  Panthers -7 (+102) at Pinnacle

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837168, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Eagles vs. Patriots
The Patriots are seething after falling out of the undefeated ranks last week to Brock Osweiler and the Broncos. Fortunately, they face the hapless Eagles in week 13 and, crucially, at home. The Patriots are massive home favorites at most sportsbooks for good reason. Bill Belichick and the Patriots have many key injuries, which does make this a lot of points to lay. Then again, the Patriots have shown to be able to overcome those. Plus, we’re not putting money down on either Sam Bradford or Mark Sanchez. Simple as that.

Free NFL Picks: Patriots -9.5 (-110) at Heritage

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837178, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Colts vs. Steelers
Big Ben is still not completely cleared to play, but the signs look promising for the starter to take on the Colts and veteran Matt Hasselbeck. The visitors have proven to be contenders even without their big money starter, so they can’t be taken for granted. That said, one has to like Big Ben and the Steelers at home to come through with the win. How long can Hasselbeck keep this up?  Still, the way he’s been holding up at quarterback for the Colts, this game could be closer than the odds makers would have you believe.

Free NFL Picks:  Colts +7 (-115) at BetCRIS

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2837179, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Cowboys vs. Redskins
The Cowboys are in big trouble now without Tony Romo for the rest of the season. An awful season altogether has now become a disaster, raising short term and long term concerns. Meanwhile, the Redskins improve to 5-6 SU and take over the lead in the defunct NFC East. Redskins are 5-1 SU at home and 4-2 ATS with an 8.3-point margin of victory that includes a whopping +9.8-point differential against the spread. They should take this game over a demoralised Cowboys side handily.

Free NFL Picks: Redskins -4 (-110) at BetOnline
