The NFC North champion Packers take their 8-game winning streak to AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sunday night to face the upstart Cowboys in this NFC Divisional Round beauty. Let’s ruminate and make a couple of picks.

Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys (FOX, 4:40 p.m. EST)

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (13-3 SU, 10-6 ATS) welcome Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (10-6 SU, 10-6 ATS) to AT&T Stadium (Matrix RealGrass AT) in Arlington (Possible Thunderstorms, 65°F, Retractable Roof May Close in Wet Weather) Sunday night in a high-profile NFL Divisional matchup. Dallas were 4- to 5-point favorites at Offshores Thursday night with the Total 52 to 52½. Moneyline odds sees the Cowboys -200 with the Packers +185 while the 1st Half odds see Dallas 3-point chalks with the 1st Half Total 26.

Green Bay Packers

HC Mike McCarthy (111-77-4, 59%) and the Packers (9/1 to win NFC, 5Dimes) have W7 straight (6-1 ATS), but with Jordy Nelson (Ribs, Doubtful) possibly watching and definitely hurting, Randall Cobb and Davante Adams will have to carry bigger loads as Rodgers’ (22 TD, 0 INT streak) targets.

The Packers (+10 TO)—without Eddie Lacy and Sam Shields—are 4-0 ATS L4 Playoffs and January and 6-1 ATS L7 Playoff Road and overall, but 1-5 ATS L6 in this series at Dallas.  The Over is 5-0 L5 Packers against NFC, Following SU Win and L5 overall for Green Bay.

Dallas Cowboys

After going 4-12 SU (4-11-1 ATS) last year, the Cowboys (+203 to win NFC, 5Dimes) have had a dream season thanks to a pair of magically mature Rookies in the backfield along with the NFL’s best OL. If Prescott himself rushes the ball enough and guys like Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and Cole Beasley are productive, then the Pack may have trouble outscoring the hosts.

Dallas (+585 to win Super Bowl, 5Dimes) is 3-8-1 ATS L11 vs. Winning Teams, 7-18-1 L26 FieldTurf, 3-7 ATS L10 Playoffs and 1-5 ATS L6 in January and overall but those Trends were carved by different Cowboys squads. The Over is 35-15-3 after Dallas has allowed 15 or Less Points Previous Game.

Cowboys Should Ride Elliott to NFC Finals

When these two teams met at Lambeau Field Week 6, Dallas rolled to a 30-16 win (GB -5, 47) with Ezekiel Elliott having a season-high 80 yards after Contact, so expect Dallas (26.3 ppg, #5 NFL) to again pound The Ohio State Rookie early on to try to soften up the Green Bay Defense (24.3 ppg, #21).

Since 2014 in this Round, 6-9 games with Totals 50+ went Over and the Over is 5-1 L6 Series meetings in Big D, although the Under is 5-2 L7 overall with the Home team 10-4 ATS L14 meetings. This definitely won’t resemble The Ice Bowl (1967)—especially if the roof should be closed—and points could come fast and furious with both Offenses and a kind playing surface.
