Week 16 is looming and the NFL odds are already out, but waiting to make your picks on game day could cost you. Let’s check out which games are already moving and see what opportunities can be had by getting down early in the week.

Lions vs. Bengals

The Bengals of 2017 are reminding their fans of the Bungles of yesteryear. Fortunately they reside in a division with the NFL’s laughingstock, the Cleveland Browns, which has precluded them from occupying the basement of the AFC North. However, the betting public has seen Cincinnati score an average of 11 points over the last three weeks, not coincidentally all losses, therefore it’s not surprising that the NFL odds have risen on the road favorite in this matchup between the visiting Lions and their hosts from Cincinnati. Detroit opened as three-point road chalk but that number has soared to -5 at Bookmaker and YouWager. If you are inclined to lay the lumber, click on over to 5Dimes, Pinnacle and BetOnline -- all offering Detroit -4½ as of this writing Monday.

Bills vs. Patriots

Tom Brady authored another chapter in his storied career of spectacular comebacks when he and All-World tight end Rob Gronkowski shredded the Steelers’ defense and rallied for a 27-24 victory in Pittsburgh. There were a few more stunning -- as well as controversial -- aspects to that win but the bottom line is that the public has clearly allied behind the Patriots in the early action as New England has vaulted from a 10-point home favorite to as high as -13 at 5Dimes. If you want the best line being dealt by the majors on the defending Super Bowl champs, surf over to Bookmaker or JustBet, both offering TB12’s crew at -11½.

Seahawks vs. Cowboys

Holy hell, what happened to the Seahawks last week?! Those who included Seattle in their NFL picks in Week 15 knew early on that they had just donated to their favorite bookmaker, as the Seahawks were outgunned and outclassed from box to wire by the high-flying Los Angeles Rams. That 42-7 thrashing has clearly resonated in the minds of the betting public as the line has already spiked, opening the Seahawks as +2½-point road dogs to +4½ across the board. Of course, the host Dallas Cowboys had a solid victory last week in Oakland, but this line move has much more to do with fading the Hawks than an endorsement of the Boyz.

Raiders vs. Eagles

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3193263, "sportsbooksIds":[93,19,139,238,1096], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

There is apparently no love for the Silver & Black as the Raiders take to the highway this week, originally pegged as 7½-point road dogs but now getting as many as nine points from top online sportsbooks such as Bovada and Bookmaker. Their hosts, the Philadelphia Eagles, might have lost their starting quarterback and were nearly upset by the Giants last week, but that hasn’t deterred bettors from sending it on the boys from the City of Brotherly Love. If you still want to bet the Eagles you can do a bit better at BetOnline, Heritage, and SportBetting.ag, all dealing Philly at -8½.
