Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -3 -110 at Pinnacle
The Eagles opened up as 2.5-point favorites on the NFL odds before it moved to -3, then -3.5 and now it is back to -3. Philadelphia is a tough team to figure for not only the books, but bettors as well because they came into the season with so much hype, then they looked awful in their first two losses of the season, especially against Dallas. They looked much better against the Jets, who are a good football team, but everyone needs to see more consistency out of the Eagles before they can jump back on the bandwagon. The total has dropped from 48 to 46 since it opened as well.

RB DeMarco Murray didn't play in the win over the Jets because of his hamstring and with Ryan Mathews playing well in his place, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him sit once again. Murray hasn't been good at all this season due to injuries and other factors, and Kelly won't hesitate to hold him out of the lineup. That being said, keep an eye on the injury report.

For the Redskins, WR DeSeaon Jackson is questionable because of his hamstring, while CB DeAngelo Hall is out for at least three weeks because of a tear in in his toe. CB Justin Rogers is out for the season because of his foot, and the same goes for G Shawn Lauvao due to his ankle. There are a total of 10 players on the injured-reserve list for the Redskins and while they have increasing levels of importance, the Washington depth is being tested very early in the season.

The Eagles have covered in just two of their last seven games, while the Redskins have done so in just two of their last eight. However, the Eagles have covered in three of their last five on the road, while the Redskins have covered in two of their last five at home.

Philadelphia is 6-4 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 against the Redskins, who are 2-3 SU and ATS in their last five home games against the Eagles.
