Eagles vs. Broncos Week 10 Picks: Back the Broncos To Win Third Straight
The Philadelphia Eagles travel to face the Denver Broncos after each team had potentially season-defining games in Week 9. Can this game further cement each team's fate for 2021? Read our Eagles and Broncos picks to find out.
We're starting to see the clear separation of teams fighting for a playoff spot and the others simply working to earn respect and lock in their jobs for the future. That's the scene in Denver this week. The 3-6 Eagles have faded into the background, while the 5-4 Broncos continue to sit in the playoff race.
Everything can change quickly, though. The Eagles may be struggling but their young group of offensive playmakers has shown flashes of competence. Their defense still boasts key stars like Fletcher Cox and Darius Slay as well. Denver — even after trading Von Miller — has one of the more impressive rosters top-to-bottom with the likes of Jerry Jeudy and Melvin Gordon.
Here are my picks and predictions for the NFL Week 10 matchup between the Eagles and the Broncos (odds via DraftKings; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Eagles vs. Broncos Odds Analysis
This line opened with Denver as 2.5-point favorites and has shifted a half-point more towards the Broncos. It's surprising the Eagles earned the goodwill originally, as the home team usually is spotted three points automatically. The Broncos are also coming off a big win against Dallas.
The total has seen a slight uptick from 44.5 to 45.5. Some books have this at 45 right now, so consider shopping around if you're looking to play the Over.

Broncos -3 (-110)
It's funny looking back at early-season trends and seeing an Eagles team incapable of running the football. Things have changed over the last two weeks as they've relied on the ground game to produce. They've accumulated 412 rushing yards compared to only 269 passing yards in games against the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Chargers.
That won't get it done against a well-rounded Denver team. The Broncos' passing game is efficient — their third in completion percentage — and their defense has the ability to put the squeeze on young passers. In the Eagles' losses, they've lost by six or more in each game except last week's narrow defeat against the Chargers. Denver is far from an offensive juggernaut but when combined with their defense, they can continue that streak. Three points is a good value against a mediocre Philadelphia roster, making it a great pick in this Eagles and Broncos game.
Over 45.5 (-110)
While Denver hasn't been involved in too many high-scoring games, Philadelphia can't escape them. Just one of their games since their loss to the San Francisco 49ers would have hit the Under here. The Eagles' defense usually gives up at least 27 or more points, and their offense has some upside to match, scoring 20 or more points in seven straight.
Denver will love attacking the middle of the Eagles' defense even if Noah Fant is ruled out. Teddy Bridgewater has been above-average all year and can push the ball all three levels. That ability will equal another Over for the Broncos.
