Philadelphia might be the most talked-about 0-2 team in the league as Chip Kelly's seat is very hot following a bad loss to Dallas. They travel to take on the 2-0 New York Jets, whose defense has allowed 17 points in two games and looked incredible in shackling Andrew Luck on the road in Indianapolis. An 0-3 start and the fans in Philly won't be very kind.
Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -3 -113 at Pinnacle
This line has been all over the place from the start, where it was a PK, then -1 for the Eagles, back to a PK, then -1, -2 (both for Philadelphia) and then a PK; this was all by Monday night. On Tuesday, it went to a -1 for the Jets, then -1.5, then -2 before settling on -2.5 for now. No one seems to know what to think of the Eagles and as soon as they came out as the favorite, the Jets were likely the most popular bet at your sportsbook, especially at home. The total keeps dropping as well as it opened at 47.5, and the NFL odds show 46 four days later.

Another worry for the Eagles is RB Demarco Murray, who might be out with a hamstring injury, but you should argue that shouldn't matter. After signing a massive deal to leave Dallas for Philadelphia, Murray has 11 yards on 21 carries (you read that correctly), and depending on whose article you read, it's either Murray's fault, Kelly's fault or the offensive line's fault; the answer is likely a combination of the three. Also, LB Kiko Alonso is out for a while with a knee injury.
For the Jets, WR Eric Decker (knee) and CB Darrelle Revis (groin) are being limited in practice, but they'll very likely play. WR Chris Owusu is out because of his knee, but even though RB Chris Ivory (quadriceps) didn't practice on Wednesday, he should also suit up for the surprising Jets. QB Geno Smith (jaw) is also back and practicing, but Ryan Fitzpatrick has been solid in his spot; the spot might not even be his anymore.
Both teams have struggled ATS lately with the Eagles covering in just one of their last six games, while the Jets have failed to do so in their last five, although they're 4-1 SU in those games. The Jets are also 4-1 ATS in their last five at home, while the Eagles are 2-3 SU and ATS in their last five on the road. The Eagles have played four road games with the Jets since 1987, going 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS and overall, Philadelphia is 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS over the Jets.
