Anthony Richardson and Bijan Robinson are two of the most alluring prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft. Our dive into the NFL draft odds examines which teams are most likely to draft Richardson and Robinson.

The Carolina Panthers are viewed as the favorites to draft Florida QB Anthony Richardson while the Detroit Lions are the frontrunners to take Texas running back Bijan Robinson. That said, there is plenty of value on other teams in both markets with needs at the respective positions.

Here is our look at the NFL draft odds for which team will select Anthony Richardson and Bijan Robinson, along with a look at some potential selections (odds via DraftKings and FanDuel).

Which team will draft Anthony Richardson?

Carolina Panthers (+340 via FanDuel)

While there are a number of NFL teams in search of a quarterback, the Panthers may have the most glaring need of all at the position. Carolina’s passing offense was virtually nonexistent last season. Injuries and poor play forced them to start several players at the position.

With the ninth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Panthers will likely have to trade up to land the likes of Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud. However, the concerns about Richardson needing to develop as a passer could lend to him still being available at their current draft position. With the offense being the focal point of the team’s coaching search, upgrading the QB depth chart could emerge as a priority for Carolina in the draft.

Indianapolis Colts (+430 via FanDuel)

The quarterback position has been a revolving door of mediocrity in Indianapolis for several years now. Most recently, the Colts tried and failed with Matt Ryan, one year after similar results with Carson Wentz. After hiring an offensive-minded head coach last month, QB figures to be one of the Colts’ biggest priorities in the NFL draft.

With the fourth overall pick, the Colts will have a great selection of talented players to choose from. Like many other team staffs, Indianapolis was reportedly very impressed with Richardson’s showing at the scouting combine. The possibility to learn and develop behind Ryan for a time also gives the Colts added flexibility to take a big swing.

Las Vegas Raiders (+650 via FanDuel)

Based on the 2023 NFL Draft odds for who will select Richardson, it’s hard not to love the value available on the Raiders. With Derek Carr out, Las Vegas has begun the process of searching for a franchise quarterback who can help deliver a championship. Based on raw talent and physical intangibles, Richardson could very well be that guy.

Jarrett Stidham is already in the fold and there are rumors that the Raiders could pursue Jimmy Garoppolo as well. Thus, Richardson would not need to start right away should he wind up in Sin City. With the seventh overall pick, Las Vegas could find itself in the perfect spot to draft him, although Sportsbook Review's Michael McClymont has Richardson going at No. 5 in his NFL Mock Draft. The Raiders clearly have defensive needs to address as well, but it would hardly be a shock to see them swing for the fences with their first selection.

Which team will draft Bijan Robinson?

Detroit Lions (+650 via FanDuel)

Projecting where a running back will go in the NFL draft is always tough given that the position is not typically a focal point in the first round. That said, there’s good reason to believe that the Lions might jump at the chance to take Robinson with the 18th overall pick. Detroit also owns the No. 6 pick and thus, will have already had the chance to address a defensive position.

As for the 2023 running back draft class, there’s no denying that Robinson is the frontrunner. The Lions are a run-heavy team and there’s no reason to anticipate that changing. Coach Dan Campbell has also expressed a desire to add depth in the backfield alongside veterans D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams. Relative to DraftKings, the +650 odds via FanDuel certainly offer solid value.

Buffalo Bills (+1200 via DraftKings)

Oftentimes, teams will be more willing to spend a first-round pick on a running back when they are set across the other key positions. Should Robinson fall to the latter stages of the first round, the Bills could be hard-pressed not to pull the trigger.

In order for Buffalo to take the next step toward contending for an AFC and Super Bowl title, a more formidable rushing attack is clearly necessary. The fact that Josh Allen has been the team’s most consistent rushing threat in each of the last two seasons is not ideal. Current starter Devin Singletary is probably better suited to operate as a change-of-pace back. Robinson would certainly raise the stock of the Bills’ backfield in a big way.

Los Angeles Chargers (+4000 via DraftKings)

The Chargers already have a star rusher in Austin Ekeler, but they have been failing miserably in their quest to obtain a bigger, more powerful back to complement him. What’s more, if Ekeler were to go down due to injury, there is no other player currently on the depth chart that Los Angeles can confidently trust to carry the run game.

Like the Bills, the Chargers already have a well-rounded roster with no glaring needs at key positions. As such, it would make a ton of sense for them to take Robinson at No. 21 overall if he is still available. Speaking of availability, the Bolts will be picking ahead of many other teams who figure to be most apt to spring for a running back in the first round. In terms of the betting odds, DraftKings’ 40-1 price is offering a ton of value relative to the 15-1 listing at FanDuel.
