Week 11 of the NFL season concludes with a Monday Night Football matchup between the San Francisco 49ers (5-4) and the Arizona Cardinals (4-6). This will be the first of two meetings between the teams, with the last meeting resulting in a 31-17 win for the Cardinals in 2021. With the division lead up for grabs, this is a massive game for the 49ers as they take their talents to Mexico City. The Niners are coming off their second straight win, where they defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 22-16 on Sunday Night Football in Week 10. San Fran is getting healthy at the right time, as injuries to Nick Bosa, Elijah Mitchell, and Deebo Samuel are all in the rear-view as they enter this game.

Arizona Cardinals

It’s quite unfortunate that the Cardinals will be without their starting quarterback in this one, because they can get right back in the tight NFC West race with a win Monday night. A win would put them just one game back of the division lead and a wild card spot. The Cardinals have been hit hard by the injury bug, as QB Kyler Murray is out, and WR Marquise Brown is expected to miss his fifth straight game. On a positive note, their number one WR DeAndre Hopkins is expected to play in this one, after being listed as questionable. Colt McCoy gets the start at QB after getting the victory in his first taste of action last week.

Looking at the recent history between the teams, the Cardinals have had the Niners number. The Cards have gone 7-3 SU and 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings. A number that resides in the favor of the 49ers, is that the favorite in international games have gone 27-9-1 SU and 23-14 ATS all-time. In a massive game for both teams, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
