The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins recorded two of the most comfortable and most impressive victories of Week 1. Both look like contenders for the AFC playoffs as they meet in Baltimore in Week 2. Check out our Dolphins-Ravens picks.

Everyone expected the Ravens to beat the Jets in Week 1. While the covered the spread and won by double digits, the game wasn’t as easy as the box score suggests. Baltimore led 10-3 at halftime but managed to pull away late thanks to QB Lamar Jackson's three touchdown passes.

In a game that was viewed by many to be a toss-up, the Dolphins had no issues with the New England Patriots. The defense turned the Patriots over three times, while the offense compiled 307 yards and no turnovers for the win in head coach Mike McDaniel's debut. Once the Dolphins took a multiple-possession lead, the Patriots never got it back within one score again.

Here are our top picks for the NFL Week 2 game between the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Dolphins vs. Ravens Week 2 ATS Pick

Ravens -3.5 (-110) ★★

This line seems to ignore not only what the Dolphins did to the Patriots in Week 1, but also what they were able to do against the Ravens in 2021. In that game, the Dolphins' defense kept Lamar Jackson on his toes, and the chaos made it so that Jackson and the Ravens’ offense struggled to move the ball.

Yet, last year’s result gives Baltimore plenty of game film to review heading into this week’s matchup. Perhaps that is why Vegas opened this line above the key number. Whatever Vegas’ reason is, this line is a bit fishy, which is why we’re on the Ravens to cover.

Dolphins vs. Ravens Week 2 O/U Pick

Under 44.5 (-110) ★★

The bigger names may play on the offensive side in this matchup, but the defenses will be the storyline. The Under has hit in eight of Miami’s last 11 games, while it has also hit in seven of the last 10 games played by Baltimore.

Despite neither offense making egregious mistakes in Week 1, the defenses shined in each victory. It may seem too easy to take the Under, but it is the right play since neither of these teams has shown defensive flaws yet. However, if this number keeps dropping, it might be better to just stay away.

Dolphins vs. Ravens Week 2 Prop Bet

Jackson To Throw Interception (-105) ★★

Dating back to 2021, Lamar Jackson has thrown an interception in five of his last six games. The only time he didn’t throw an interception was against Cleveland when he was injured early in the contest. Meanwhile, the Dolphins' defense has picked off opposing quarterbacks in three of their last four games, including in Week 1 against the Patriots.

Jackson relied heavily on big plays in Week 1, and when you go for big plays, you are much more likely to make mistakes. The Dolphins’ secondary posed problems for Jackson in 2021 when he also threw an interception.
