1-7 Detroit hasn't won in Green Bay since 1991. The 6-2 Packers have been slipping lately, so they'll be out to make a statement on Sunday at home. Let's review the NFL betting odds inside.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -13 +102 at Pinnacle
The NFL odds for this NFC North contest opened at -13 for the Packers at home, but has since gone to -11.5 and then -11. That is still a hefty line for the Packers, and you get the feeling it would have been higher if they had won in Carolina. It's tough to figure out why the line went down for the Lions. It might be that they're coming off a bye after getting walloped in London by Kansas City, and they made a number of big chances. It remains to be seen if those changes are going to pay dividends, but going to Green Bay, where they've been both bad and unlucky over the years, isn't the best place for them to visit.

The Lions, of course, will be without LB DeAndre Levy, who is out for the season with a hip injury. WR Calvin Johnson was bothered by a bad ankle before the bye, but he should be able to play on Sunday and the Lions will need him to help turn this around.

For the Packers, RB Eddie Lacy is on the injury report with a groin problem. While he is listed as probable, Lacy is going to lose carries anyway as James Starks has taken the #1 spot from him, so keep an eye on that situation going forward. WR Ty Montgomery didn't play in Carolina because of an ankle injury and he is another player that should be watched ahead of kickoff.

Detroit has covered the spread just once in eight games this season, and just twice in their last 10 on the road. The Packers are 6-3 ATS in their last nine games overall, and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 at home. The total for this game is at 47.5, and the Lions have gone over in four of their last five games, while the Packers have gone under in four of their last five.

The Packers are 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Lions. In the last 20 games in Green Bay, the Packers are 20-0 SU, posting a 14-5-1 ATS record as well.
