The story will focus on the quarterbacks as Indianapolis cut Peyton Manning to make room for Andrew Luck, which looked like a great move. However, while Manning is in decline, Luck has been worse this season. Manning is 1-2 in three games against his former team, including last year's playoff loss at home to the Colts, and he'll have a chip on his shoulder on Sunday.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -3 -105 at Pinnacle
The Broncos were favored by a field goal when the NFL odds came out, then it went to -3.5, then -4 and -4.5. The line has since moved to -5 and it wouldn't be a surprise if it went more to the Broncos. Denver's defense looked incredible in holding Aaron Rodgers to 77 passing yards, while Luck looked awful for three quarters in Carolina and while he took the team to overtime, he then threw a pick that gave the Panthers the ball back. The story was that Luck was injured with bad ribs, but he is apparently healthy now. But going against this Denver defense, it might not matter if Luck is hurt or healthy. It should also be noted that the Broncos traded for TE Vernon Davis, who went missing in San Francisco, but it's hard to tell if that was his fault.

Injuries
For the Broncos, T Ty Sambrailo is out for the season with a shoulder injury. LB Shane Ray and WR Jordan Norwood weren't at practice on Wednesday due to knee and hamstring injuries, respectively.

In Indianapolis, it was reported that WR T.Y. Hilton needed an MRI on his foot this week. After the Colts got in hot water (well, lukewarm) for holding back on Luck's injury status, you can expect to hear something about that soon.

Trends
The Broncos are 5-1-1 ATS during this regular season, and they have the same ATS record in their last seven on the road. The Colts have covered in just three of their last nine, and they're 2-3-1 ATS in their last six at home.

Denver is 2-8 SU and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 against the Colts, who are 7-3 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last ten at home against the Broncos.
