The Arizona Cardinals released star receiver DeAndre Hopkins in May, making the three-time All-Pro free to sign with any team. NFL odds are available at some of our best sports betting apps on where the 31-year-old receiver will land next. Here are our picks on who Hopkins will suit up for in 2023.

Failing to find a trade partner, the Arizona Cardinals swallowed their pride and released star receiver DeAndre Hopkins in late May.

The 10-year pro ranks second among active players in career catches and receiving yards, and third in receiving touchdowns. He could be the difference-maker for a team with Super Bowl aspirations, and a team won't have to cough up draft compensation to acquire him.

With so many teams in the market for a player of Hopkins' caliber, there are many potential landing spots.

Here are our best picks for DeAndre Hopkins' next team, based on odds from our best NFL betting sites.

DeAndre Hopkins next team predictions

Bills (+1200)

Imagine the Bills' good fortune. In need of a secondary receiving threat behind Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs, the top-four prospects in the draft were scooped up before Buffalo picked at No. 25 overall. Now, a three-time All-Pro receiver is available on the open market.

The Bills have been unable to break through in the difficult AFC, losing in the conference championship in 2020 and in the divisional round in 2021 and 2022. While Buffalo ranked second in passing touchdowns during the regular season with 35, the team found it much more difficult to score through the air in the postseason, recording three passing scores and three interceptions. The addition of Hopkins could put them over the top.

Hopkins recently name dropped Bills quarterback Josh Allen as the passer he'd most like to play with next.

If Buffalo can pair Diggs with Hopkins, Gabe Davis would be better suited as a No. 3 receiver, and tight ends Dawson Knox and rookie Dalton Kincaid could thrive under less pressure as complementary pieces. It would also put the Bills on par with the top receiving corps in the conference.

Jets (+4000)

The Bills aren't the only AFC East team in the buyer's market. The rival New York Jets are in win-now mode after acquiring future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers this offseason.

The Jets have been busy adding Rodgers' buddies Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb to their young receiving corps, but Hopkins could be the piece de resistance.

The Jets would be following a similar pattern. When Tom Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, the team added All-Pro receivers Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown and went on to win Super Bowl LV. The Los Angeles Rams traded for quarterback Matthew Stafford the following season and added star wideout Odell Beckham Jr., who was a central figure in their triumph in Super Bowl LVI.

Rodgers hopes to follow the same path as Brady and Stafford and find immediate success in the Big Apple. He reportedly had Beckham on his wish list of free-agent adds for the Jets. Though they were out bid for OBJ, Hopkins would represent one hell of a consolation prize.
