Chicago sports radio & TV legend David Kaplan has joined Sportsbook Review and was 4-2 on his football picks last week. Here are Uncle Kappy's Fab Five for NFL Week 10 & NCAA Week 11.

Last week I posted a 4-2 record with losses on Louisiana Tech, who was crushed by Mississippi State, and the Cleveland Browns, who were drilled by the Kansas City Chiefs. I took a shot on Tech because I believed they could put up enough offense to cover the large spread they were getting, but MSU proved me wrong by dominating with their defense.

I fell for the Browns like many in the handicapping world who believed that Kansas City could not sustain the high level of play they have been performing at since the season started. The Chiefs dominated the game and proved once again that they are one of the best teams in the NFL.

So, with an 9-2 record the past two weeks I've been very solid, but let's try to take this record to another level. How about another big week!

Kansas at Kansas State -10

Rivalry games usually find me staying away from a spread this large, but Kansas is changing coaches at the end of the season and Kansas State is a model of stability. Lay the points.

Seattle Seahawks +9.5 at LA Rams

I would buy the 1/2 point up (some of SBR’s top-rated sportsbooks have it at 10) if you play this game to get to +10, but Seattle is a decent team and the Rams are coming off their first loss, albeit to a very good New Orleans Saints team. I believe Los Angeles is in a bit of a flat spot, so I will take the points.

Vintage Dolphins fans might've rejoiced the #LARams loss last week, but there will be no celebration by #Seahawks fans this Sunday. #NFLhttps://t.co/2Rf4LzbhgO

Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers -9.5

The Packers are in a tough stretch in their schedule, and they need a win in a big way to stay in the race in the NFC North. Miami is a beatable opponent, and Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the league. I am on the Pack. Lay the points.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles -7

The Eagles are a better team than they have shown, and I see them putting a complete game together against a Dallas team that I don't think is at their level. See if you can find this line at 6 or 6 ½, but either way I am laying the points.

Atlanta Falcons at Cleveland Browns +5.5

The Browns have a week under their belt with a new coaching staff, and I expect them to play much better against an opponent not named the Kansas City Chiefs. I will take the points, but I believe the Browns can win this game outright.

New York Giants +3 at San Francisco 49ers

Monday night’s ugly matchup. The Giants are desperate for a win. I think the 49ers are overvalued coming off of their win against an awful Raiders team. I see Saquon Barkley having a big game. Take the points, but I see the Giants also winning this game outright.

Kaplan hosts a daily radio show in Chicago on ESPN 1000 (WMVP-AM) from 9 a.m. to noon local time and a daily TV show on NBC Sports Chicago at 6 p.m. He hosts Cubs pregame and postgame shows on the same network.
