And then there were four. After last week's divisional round play, we move onto the conference championship games but the sharp bettor wants to know are the NFL odds moving and in what direction? Let's take a look at the AFC and NFC clashes this weekend.

Sunday 3:05 PM ET Jaguars vs. Patriots

The Jacksonville Jaguars are the Cinderella story of this season's playoffs. They shocked the world last week when they not only covered the number but defeated the heavily favored Steelers 45-42, in a game that wasn't as close as the score indicates. But now they move on and their reward is a trip to Foxboro to square off against the legendary Tom Brady and his New England Patriots. New England had no trouble eviscerating the Titans' defense in their divisional round matchup with Tennessee last week and coasted to a 35-14 win.

The NFL odds opened with the Patriots installed as 9 ½ point favorites, which happened to coincide with the number I predicted prior to the release of the opening line. However, there is early action on the upstart Jags and the money is pushing this number down at top online sportsbooks like Bookmaker, dealing New England at -9, while 5Dimes is offering Pats -8 ½, and Heritage is now down to as low as -8 at their site. Those who are leaning towards betting Jacksonville in their NFL picks should consider books like Pinnacle, BetOnline, and Intertops, all holding fast with 9 ½ , although the underdog will now cost you anywhere from -115 to -125 for the privilege of getting this line.

Sunday 6:40 PM ET Vikings vs. Eagles

Despite the fact that the Minnesota Vikings should be watching this conference championship from the comfort of their own living rooms - had it not been for one of the poorest tackle attempts in playoff history - they find themselves on the road and once again installed as a betting favorite. Minnesota will travel to the City of Brotherly Love and will take on the Philadelphia Eagles who will rely on backup Nick Foles to lead them to the NFC championship and a date at the Super Bowl on February 4th.

Depending on who you like in this one will dictate where you place your bet. The books are clearly divided between the Vikings -3 or -3 ½ which means if you like Minny to cover the number then you can get your best deal at 5 Dimes, Bookmaker, or YouWager all offering the road chalk at -3 (-120). However, if you have a penchant for pups then click on over to Bovada, currently dealing Philadelphia at +3 ½ (-110). Other online sportsbooks offering +3 ½ like Pinnacle, BetOnline, or Intertops are all charging a premium ranging anywhere from -116 to -121 for the additional, and oftentimes critical, the half-point on the three.
