For once, we have to give Cleveland some credit. They took three players in the first round of the draft that could be stars. They might have their quarterback of the future in DeShone Kizer.

While some players might help immediately, the Browns are not really sure if they have their quarterback of the future and it a given at best Cody Kessler might make them a .500 in a couple years. With South Point sportsbook in Las Vegas hanging a 4.5 win total on Cleveland, what are their prospects?

Wins You Can Count On: The easy answer is none, but we will try and be a little more optimistic. In Weeks 4 and 5 Cleveland has Cincinnati and the New York Jets near the Lake Erie shore and this could be two victories. The Week 8 contest with Minnesota in England would seem to offer hope, as would Week 11 when Jacksonville heads to northern Ohio.

Games That Could Go Either Way: Two matchups that stand out are road games, at Chicago and at the Los Angeles Chargers. Neither figures to have a real home field advantage and if Cleveland can run the ball and not turn the ball over, they will have a chance.

Real Trouble Spots: In truth, too many to mention. Let's start with it would seem at best the Browns are 1-5 in the division, with losing all six again a real possibility. (For NFL picks, the Browns could go 3-3 ATS.) Contests against Green Bay, Tennessee, at Indianapolis, at Houston and at Detroit do not seem to offer much hope.
