Both the Titans and Giants have been huge disappointments this season, which makes it all the more difficult to locate appealing NFL betting value in Week 14. What have we ultimately decided on with our sports picks?

Odds Overview
The lines vary, with some books showing a straight pick'em and others having the Titans favored by one to two points at home. Keep checking SBR's live NFL odds monitoring service in order to get the best possilbe value out there.

Neither of these offenses have been too reliable, but with how bad both Tennessee and New York have been defensively, we can see why the books have the total at 45.5. The Titans have the worst scoring defense in the entire NFL (28.2 points per game allowed), but the Giants haven't been much better, rankin 25th in the league.

Tennessee Titans
Look all the way back to Week 1. The Titans had just wrapped up a highly impressive 26-10 road win over the Chiefs, and everyone was saying how dominant the defense was and that Ken Whisenhunt's team could be a serious contender. That thought seems laughable now, as Tennessee is 2-10 on the year and is already looking forward to next season.

Losing six straight games, the Titans have fallen fast and hard, though the one positive is that they'll face another bad team in New York this weekend.

In Week 12, Tennessee was beaten up badly by Houston on the road, losing 45-21. The defensive showing was atrocious, as they let former Titan Ryan Fitzpatrick throw for six touchdowns (!), with DeAndre Hopkins going off for over 200 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Titans were simply unable to slow down the Texans whatsoever, and as if that wasn't bad enough, they also turned the ball over four times. Is there any pride left in the Tennessee camp?

New York Giants
While the Titans have lost six straight games, the Giants have gone one further, dropping seven in a row in a crazy freefall that sees Tom Coughlin's team now at 3-9 on the year.

They've been hanging tough the last three weeks, losing by six or less points in each game, but they just haven't made the necessary plays down the stretch. That was summed up perfectly in this past weekend's last-second loss to the lowly Jaguars.

Despite leading 21-0 at one point, the Giants saw it all slip away, and then lost on a Josh Scobee field goal in the final minute. New York dominated the game for large portions, but lost three turnovers and couldn't lock things down defensively when it mattered most. It had to be the most disappointing loss of the season for New York, and that's saying a lot.

Looking at the overall numbers, there's not much New York has done well. They rank #15 in passing offense, #22 in running, #19 against the pass and #31 versus the run. Yes, the emergence of rookie Odell Beckham into one of the game's premier wideouts has been great to see, but it matters little when your team isn't winning games.

NFL Pick
Do we really have to make a pick here?

All jokes aside, neither team deserves much love from the public, but when push comes to shove, we like New York's offensive personnel a little more, and therefore our NFL pick here will be to side with the road team in this Week 14 "showdown".

The Giants have gotten some great production out of Beckham and Jennings and those two should find a lot of success again this weekend. The Titans haven't been able to stop anyone from running down their throats, and the secondary hasn't been much better, especially whipping boy Blidi Wreh-Wilson. Beckham should feast, and ultimately we look for the Giants offense to make enough play to guide them to the win and ATS cover.
