Minnesota has lost three of their last four to fall to 8-5, one game behind Green Bay in the NFC North. They'll host Chicago, where the Bears are 5-8 and are pretty much out of the postseason hunt.

The Bears opened up as 5-point underdogs on the road in Minnesota, and now the NFL odds have climbed to 5.5 points. Chicago might singing a different tune if not for K Robbie Gould, who missed a late field-goal attempt for the second week in a row after the Bears lost 24-21 in Washington. Granted, this team isn't a playoff team to begin with, but they were right there and their kicker failed them. The Vikings fell 23-20 in Arizona last Thursday night, and even though they lost, it was a solid effort after getting their doors blown off at home by Seattle in their previous game. They're still in control of their destiny as they're two games up on four 6-7 teams in the NFC, but a win would ease the minds of Minnesota fans. The first meeting between these NFC North rivals ended in a 23-20 win for the Vikings in Week 8 as K Blair Walsh kicked a 36-yard field goal as time expired. RB Adrian Peterson ran for 103 yards for the Vikings, who are 6-0 this season when he hits the 100-yard mark. Peterson has ran for 1,499 yards in 13 meetings with the Bears.

S Antrel Rolle is gone for the season with a sprained MCL, and the Bears are aiming to have him at 100% for next season. For all intents and purposes, the Bears aren't making the playoffs, so they're looking to 2016 already.

The Vikings don't have any new injuries to report as of Wednesday, although you should keep an eye out for Friday's practice.

Chicago is 7-6 ATS overall this season, but they've been great on the road, going 5-1 ATS in six games. Minnesota is 10-3 ATS with a 4-2 ATS record at home. The total for this game comes in at 43, and the Bears have gone under seven times. The Vikings have gone under nine times, along with two pushes.

The Bears are 6-4 SU and ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Vikings, who are 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 at home with Chicago.
