Chicago showed a lot of pride in getting their first win at Oakland as everyone wrote them off, getting Jay Cutler back had to help. The Bears now travel to Kansas City in a matchup of 1-3 teams.

The Chiefs opened up as 10-point favorites on the NFL odds as bookies are looking at their home form in recent years, and past their recent form. However, it is concering that they gave away a home game against Denver (that game will haunt them all season), then they got whipped in Green Bay (the Packers are really good at Lambeau), and made Andy Dalton look like Joe Montana in a loss to Cincinnati. The Bears didn't play great against the Raiders, but while Jay Cutler isn't great, he's a much better quarterback option than Jimmy Clausen. That being said, the Raiders sacked Cutler three times, and Kansas City's pass rush can be the best in the NFL at times.

For the Bears, C Will Montgomery is on the injured -reserve list due to a leg injury, which is a huge blow to the offensive line. S Antrel Rolle had an X-ray on his ankle that was negative, but he might be out this week as well for Chicago, who are still watching out for WR Alshon Jeffery and his hamstring.

For the Chiefs, CB Philip Gaines was lost for the season in Green Bay, but overall they're pretty healthy. They'll need all hands on deck as Kansas City has the Bears, then at Minnesota, then home games against Pittsburgh and Detroit. A four-game winning streak isn't out of the question, and they'll need momentum going into their bye, and then a trip to Denver in Week 11.

The Bears have covered the spread in just three of their last nine, while the Chiefs are no better, covering in three of their last 10 games. However, the Chiefs are 6-2 ATS at home in their last eight, while the Bears are 1-4 ATS in their last five.

The Chiefs are 4-5 SU and 5-3 ATS in nine meetings with the Bears since 1981, the last of which came back in December 2011. In Kansas City, the Chiefs are 2-2 SU against the Bears, holding a 1-2 ATS record as well.
