Betting underdogs in the CFL lately has been a profitable proposition with a 7-1 record against the spread for teams getting points the past two weeks.Let's check betting odds for Week 15.

I have once again poured over all the facts, stats and betting trends for this week’s CFL matchups to uncover two more solid plays that come together perfectly for my Week 15 CFL Parlay. The following is a closer look at my two football picks based on CFL odds from BetOnline.

Edmonton Eskimos vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Eskimos could not cover a closing 12-point spread in last week’s tight 29-23 victory against British Columbia  but the straight-up win kept them one game off the pace in the West Division title race at 9-4 on the year. The total actually went OVER 46.5 after staying UNDER in their previous three outings behind a defense that leads the CFL in points allowed (18.3).

Winnipeg hung tough in a 25-23 loss to Calgary to easily cover as a nine-point home underdog last week and that total went OVER 47.5 after staying UNDER in eight of its previous 10 games. The Blue Bombers fell to 4-9 SU and they are still on the outside looking in as far as making the playoffs. Scoring has been their issue over their last seven games with an average of just 16.3 points a game.

Betting Trends
The Eskimos are 16-7 against the spread in their last 23 games, but they have lost four of their last eight road games SU. The total has stayed UNDER in 13 of their last 19 games and in five of their last six games on the road.

The Blue Bombers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games and 3-6-2 ATS in their last 11 games played at home. The total has stayed UNDER in five of their last six home games.

Winnipeg has covered in four of its last six home games against Edmonton and the total has stayed UNDER in 12 of the last 17 meetings here.

Betting Prediction
The Blue Bombers are really struggling right now, but division matchups such as this always tend to be closer than expected. I am a bit leery about picking a side in this West Division tilt, but I feel confident it is going to stay UNDER 46 on the total line.

Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. British Columbia Lions
A rough ride would be the perfect way to describe Saskatchewan this season with just two SU wins, but they have both come over the past four games. The one thing that it has been able to do no matter who is under center at quarterback is put some points on the board. Including last week’s 33-21 upset over Montreal as two-point home underdogs, the Roughriders are averaging 24.8 points a game this year.

BC’s playoff hopes continue to fade with a SU 4-8 record on the year. The Lions have posted just one win in their last six games and during this slide their offensive production has slipped to just 20.7 points a game. Making matters even worse is a defense that has been torched for an average of 31 points a game. This is a real tough combination to try and win games in this league.

Betting Trends
The Roughriders are 5-17 ATS over their last 22 games and they have failed to cover in nine of their last 10 games on the road. The total has gone OVER in five of their last seven games.

The Lions are 2-4 both SU and ATS in their last six home games and the total has gone OVER in four of these home games.

BC has covered ATS in four of the last five meetings and it is 5-2 ATS in its last seven home games against Saskatchewan. The total has stayed UNDER in six of the last seven meetings here.

Betting Prediction
Saskatchewan has been a tough bet this entire season, but the Roughriders have shown some signs of life lately after such a dismal start. This week they will be playing for pride against a team that has forgotten how to win down the stretch. BC is just 1-5 ATS this season as a favorite and I am banking on the Lions failing to cover again this Saturday night.

CFL Pick: Roughriders +3 at 5Dimes
