Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. (PT) and the game will be broadcast in Canada on TSN. Let's review the Canadian Football Odds for our sports picks.

The Toronto Argonauts continue their march towards the CFL playoffs with a stop at Investors Group Field this Saturday afternoon to face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in an East Division clash.

Toronto Overview

Toronto was in complete of the East Division title race until back-to-back losses to Hamilton the past two weeks closed the gap with the Tiger-Cats to just one game. This past Monday’s 24-18 loss in a game that closed as a PICK dropped the Argonauts to 9-6 straight-up on the year. They are 8-7 against the spread and the total has gone OVER the betting odds line in nine of their 15 games.

What makes this last loss to Hamilton so disturbing is the fact that Toronto had Ricky Ray back at quarterback. He was able to quickly shake off the rust from an extended six-week layoff by completing 26-of-34 attempts for 303 yards and two touchdowns, but the Argonauts did miss the services of running back Chad Kackert and wide receiver John Chiles. The biggest problem was a Toronto defense that was shredded for well over 500 yards of total offense.

Winnipeg Overview

The Blue Bombers may be tied with Edmonton for the worst record in the CFL at 3-12 SU, but they showed some serious pride this past Monday with a stunning 34-27 victory over Montreal as 11-point road underdogs. Winnipeg is 5-10 ATS overall this season with a 1-6 ATS record at home. The total went OVER the 50.5-point line against the Alouettes and it has now gone OVER in three of its last four games.

The 34-point outburst in Monday’s victory were the most points the Blue Bombers tallied since losing to Montreal 38-33 on opening day. They are still ranked dead-last in the CFL in scoring with an average of 20.9 points a game and their defense is also ranked last in points allowed; giving-up an average of 32.4 points a game, but this victory could be something to build on for next season if they close out the year with a few more wins.

Toronto vs. Winnipeg Free CFL Pick

Toronto now knows it cannot afford to screw around in this game if it wants to protect its suddenly fragile lead in the division. Look for Ray to have another strong outing and the Argonauts’ defense to tighten things up. The free CFL pick for this contest is Toronto on the road minus the six points.
