Last season’s worst CFL teams are coming into this week’s games unbeaten on the year. After breaking down all four matchups on this weekend’s schedule, I am ready to release my CFL Week 3 Two-Team Parlay based on betting odds from BetOnline.

Game 1: Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs. Montreal Alouettes
Free CFL Pointspread Pick: Montreal - 3
Free CFL Total Line Pick: 50.5

Winnipeg is one more victory away from matching last year’s win total after starting the season 2-0 both straight-up and against the spread. Last week, it beat Ottawa 36-28 as a 3.5-point home favorite after knocking off Toronto in Week 1. The Blue Bombers' unexpected fast start can be heavily attributed to the play of quarterback Drew Willy. He leads the CFL in passing yards with 615 yards, and he has completed 66.7 percent of his throws. The result has been 81 points in two games, which is by far the highest total in the league.

Montreal has earned a split in its first two games after losing to Calgary on the road in Week 1 by 21 points, only to bounce back with a solid 24-9 victory over British Columbia as a three-point home underdog. The Alouettes got a much better performance from quarterback Troy Smith against the Lions, but the biggest difference from opening day with this new-look offense was a ground game that churned-out 203 yards against BC.

Betting Trends
The Blue Bombers are 3-11-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a SU win and 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall.

The total has gone 'over' in their last six Friday games.

The Alouettes are 5-1 ATS in their last six games , but just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games in the month of July.

The total has gone 'over' in 13 of their last 18 games played on a Friday.

Winnipeg is 5-1 ATS in its last trips to Montreal and the total has stayed 'under' in nine of the last 14 games played there.

The Blue Bombers are 4-1 both SU and ATS in the last five meetings.

Betting Prediction
Winnipeg has had recent success against the Alouettes, even when it was not that good of a team. I like the momentum it will bring into this matchup and while it may still lose this game SU, I also like the Blue Bombers’ chances to cover on the road with the three points.

Game 2: Calgary Stampeders vs. Toronto Argonauts
Free CFL Pointspread Pick: Toronto -2
Free CFL Total Line Pick: 53

Calgary is well-rested coming off a bye last week after opening the 2014 regular season with a 29-8 victory over Montreal as a 7.5-point home favorite. The biggest take away from that win was Bo Levi Mitchell’s performance as the Stampeders starting quarterback. He threw for 313 yards passing and two touchdowns while completing 64 percent of his throws.

The Argonauts were stunned on opening day in a 45-21 loss to Winnipeg as seven-point road favorites, but they bounced back with a 48-15 thrashing of Saskatchewan this past Sunday as two-point home underdogs. Ricky Ray had a lot to do with that win, after throwing for 407 yards and three touchdowns. Toronto gained momentum as the game wore on with 23 fourth quarter points to easily seal the win.

Betting Trends
Calgary is 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games on the road.

The total has stayed 'under' in their last six road games.

The Argonauts are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games at home.

The total has gone 'over' in 11 of their last 15 home games.

The Stampeders are just 1-5 ATS in their last six road games against Toronto and they are 1-7 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.

The total has gone 'over' in four of the last five meetings in Toronto.

Betting Prediction
Both of these teams have quarterbacks that can light it up through the air and they have each shown the ability to put points on the board in bunches. I am going to ride the recent trends in this matchup on the total line with my CFL pick on the over 53 in this game.
