Carolina is the last unbeaten team in the league after blasting Dallas on Thanksgiving. They head to New Orleans, where the Saints are 4-7 and look like they're just playing out the season.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -6.5 -105 at Pinnacle
Carolina opened the week as 6.5-point favorites on the road in this NFC South clash, and the NFL odds  are now at -7 for the Panthers. They should be well rested after playing at Thanksgiving, and the shouts are getting louder for Cam Newton as the MVP. Between Newton and a defense that is third in the league in points allowed after trampling the Cowboys 33-14, the Panthers have to be considered a serious Super Bowl candidate. The Saints were bounced 24-6 by Houston for their fourth loss in a row, but they pushed the Panthers in Carolina in a 27-22 loss in Week 3. A win by the Panthers would clinch the NFC South, which means a playoff berth, but this team wants to go 16-0. This is a game of pride for the Saints, and the whispers are growing that head coach Sean Payton is gone after this season.

For the Panthers, CB Charles Tillman didn't practice on Wednesday because of his knee and it doesn't look like he'll play on Sunday. DE Mario Addison also didn't practice because of his ankle, and that has to be monitored going into this weekend.

On the New Orleans side of the ball, WR Willie Snead missed practice with a calf injury, but he should play. G Jahri Evans has a bad ankle and is questionable, along with NT John Jenkins, who was concussed. S Jamarca Sanford also missed practice on Wednesday with an unknown injury. However, LB Dannell Ellerbe (hip) and CB Damian Swann (concussion) returned to practice after missing games for the Saints.

The Panthers have covered in nine of their 11 games this season, including all five on the road. The Saints are 4-6-1 ATS, and 2-2-1 ATS at home. This total now sits at 50 and the Panthers have gone over seven times. The Saints have gone over six times, along with a push.

These NFC South rivals have split their last 10 meetings both SU and ATS, while the Panthers are 6-4 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 trips to New Orleans.
