NFL odds show that Carolina rolled to 10-0 behind a career day from Cam Newton, who is in the midst of the MVP conversation. Panthers head to 3-7 Dallas, Tony Romo's back, & the Boys could still win.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open:
-1.5 -105 at Pinnacle
The Cowboys opened up the NFL odds as 1.5-point favorites at home, before the line dipped to -1 and then a pick 'em. Then it went to -1 for the Panthers on the road, and after a short time at -1.5, it went back to -1 as the unbeaten Panthers are getting a push at the sportsbooks. Everyone knows what Newton can do with his legs, but he threw five touchdowns in a 44-16 rout of Washington on Sunday and the defense continues to impress. The Cowboys won 24-14 in Miami in Romo's return and while the story was the quarterback, Romo was understandably rusty, throwing two picks. RB Darren McFadden ran for 129 yards, and that takes a lot of pressure off Romo. The Dallas offense was terrible without Romo and they were improved, but now they face a Carolina defense that is fourth in yards allowed and fifth in points allowed. Also, DE Greg Hardy will face his former team for the time, and the Panthers haven't lost since getting rid of him; meanwhile, Dallas' win last week was their first with him.

Injuries
The Panthers lost G Amini Silatolu for the season to a knee injury, while DE Wes Horton is suspended for PEDs. WR Corey Brown is doubtful with a shoulder injury, while WR Ted Ginn will probably play through a knee injury.

For the Cowboys, McFadden played through a groin injury, but you have to be worried about him on a short week. McFadden is known to be injury-prone and it wouldn't be a surprise if he wasn't up to the challenge of playing on a Thursday; at the very least, playing well.

Trends
Carolina is one of three teams in the NFL that have eight ATS wins as they're 8-2 ATS, including a perfect 4-0 ATS on the road. The Cowboys are 3-7 ATS this season, covering just once in five home games. The total comes in at 45.5, down from 46, and the Panthers have gone over six times this season. The Cowboys have gone over four times.

The Cowboys have dominated this matchup, going 9-1 SU and 6-3-1 ATS in 10 games. In Dallas, the Panthers are 1-4 SU and 2-2-1 ATS.
