Carolina is still unbeaten after a wild win over the Giants. Atlanta snapped a six-game skid to go to 7-7 as they welcome their NFC South rivals to town, as Falcons should have revenge on their minds.

The Panthers are still undefeated after their 38-35 win on the road over the Giants. They’re favored on the NFL odds by a touchdown on the road. While most of the attention was focused on the physical (and dirty) battle between CB Josh Norman and Giants' WR Odell Beckham Jr., the Panthers lost a 35-7 lead, but QB Cam Newton drove them downfield for the game-winning field goal. Newton's five touchdown passes was another notch for the MVP favorite, and he is returning home to Atlanta, so that will be a storyline. The Falcons beat Jacksonville 23-17, but they're two games behind Atlanta and Minnesota in the wild-card race. The playoffs shouldn't be on their minds, though; the Falcons should be thinking about their 38-0 loss in Carolina two weeks ago. It was as bad a loss as any team has taken all season and the Falcons can't let that happen again, especially on their home field. Ending Carolina's quest for 16-0 would feel like a playoff win for the Falcons. If Atlanta is going to get up for any game, it is this one. However, the Panthers won't be happy by how they played in the fourth quarter against the Giants and should want to fix that.

Injuries
Carolina RB Jonathan Stewart is still on the fence after missing last week with a foot injury. However, the Panthers are pretty healthy going into their final two games of the regular season.

C James Stone is now on the injured-reserve list because of knee surgery, while LB Paul Worrilow missed last week with his own knee injury for the Falcons.

Trends
The Panthers are 10-4 ATS this season, going 5-2 on the road, while the Falcons are 5-9 ATS and 2-4 ATS at home. The total for this game is 47, and the Panthers have gone over nine times while the Falcons have gone under 11 times.

The two have split their last 10 SU (Carolina has won five of six), and the Panthers are 6-4 ATS in those games. In Atlanta, the two have split their last 10 SU and ATS.
