A NFC West showdown featuring two underwhelming teams is slated to take place this weekend. Read on for our Cardinals-Rams picks and predictions for NFL Week 10.

A defeat for either team on Sunday will severely dent their playoff hopes, but the Los Angeles Rams have the home advantage and the upper hand over the Arizona Cardinals.

Los Angeles is 10-1 against the Cardinals since 2017, including a win in Arizona during Week 3 this year. The lone loss did come at SoFi Stadium last season, though. The only team with more wins against a single opponent since 2017 is the Patriots, who are 11-0 against the Jets.

Here are our Cardinals-Rams NFL picks for Week 10 (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and PointsBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Cardinals vs. Rams Odds

Cardinals vs. Rams Odds Analysis

The Rams opened as 3-point favorites, but the public have driven that down with 54% of the cash placed on the home team. The total slid from 45 at the start of the week, with 60% of the cash backing the Under. It did drop to 40, but has stabilized at 40.5.

Cardinals vs. Rams Picks

  • Spread: Rams -1.5 (-107 via PointsBet)
  • Over/Under: Over 40.5 (-107 via PointsBet)
  • Prop: Rams Over 2.5 touchdowns (+135 via DraftKings)

Cardinals vs. Rams ATS Pick

Rams -1.5 (-107) ★★★★★

The Rams earned a 20-12 win over the Cardinals in Week 3. They’ve won 11 out of 12 against their NFC West rivals, with nine of those wins coming by 10 or more points. The Cardinals fell to the Seahawks, 31-21, at home last week. Since 2019, they’re now 2-9 in divisional games at home, tied with Atlanta for the worst mark in the league, but 5-5 in such games on the road.

The Rams lost to the Buccaneers, 16-13, in Tampa last week. It was just the third time since Sean McVay took over in 2017 that the Rams allowed 16 or fewer points and lost. Cooper Kupp had 64 scrimmage yards and a touchdown against Arizona in their previous matchup. Both teams are on a two-game losing streak, but I’d back Los Angeles at home against a porous defense.

Cardinals vs. Rams O/U Pick

Over 40.5 (-107) ★★★★

Kyler Murray has thrown multiple touchdown passes and completed at least 70 percent of his attempts in each of his last two games, though the Cardinals have lost both. The Rams have gone three-and-out on 29.4 percent of their offensive drives this season, the second-highest mark in the league. Last season, they did that on just 13.3 percent of their drives, the second-lowest mark in the league.

DeAndre Hopkins has averaged 99 receiving yards per game in his three starts since returning to the Cardinals’ starting lineup following an eight-game suspension. He’s also scored a receiving touchdown in back-to-back games. James Conner made a positive return from injury last week, rushing for 45 yards off seven carries and catching all five of his targets for 19 yards.

The Cardinals will pose a threat on offense, but their defense has been poor this season, especially through the air. This could be an open contest with plenty of points being scored.

Cardinals vs. Rams Prop Pick

Rams Over 2.5 touchdowns (+135) ★★★★

Last week was Cooper Kupp’s 20th career game with at least 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, the most in the NFL since he entered the league in 2017. On Sunday, Kupp and the Rams face an Arizona defense that has given up the third-most points, third-most passing yards and rank in the bottom five for most passing touchdowns conceded this year.

Stafford has thrown just eight touchdown passes thus far, which is the fewest that he’s thrown through eight games in his career. Six of those touchdown passes have been to Kupp. Regardless of Los Angeles’ offensive woes this season, it could be a get-right game against this leaky secondary. No team has given up more red zone touchdowns than the Cardinals.
