The Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins collide on this Sunday matchup and both teams have a lot to prove. Join in as we analyze the early NFL odds along with major trends & injuries.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -1 -105 at Pinnacle
The Redskins opened as 1-point favorites at home, then the NFL odds shifted to -1 to the Bills on the road. The line moved to a pick 'em before going to -1 for the Bills, lost 23-20 in the return of RB LeSean McCoy to Philadelphia. It was a hard-fought game on both sides of the ball and the Bills have lost three of their last four by eight points or less, but close doesn't count in the NFL and they're on the outside looking in when it comes to the AFC playoff race. The Redskins needed a late missed field goal to beat the Bears 24-21 in Chicago, and QB Kirk Cousins threw for 300 yards and a touchdown, although he was picked off as well. It was a good time for the Redskins to win their first road game of the year, and they're 5-2 at home. There isn't much between these two in terms of the numbers, so it might come down to the turnover game: Washington is 0 in turnover margin, and Chicago is -2. Whoever makes the fewest mistakes will likely win this game.

The Bills put CB Stephen Gilmore on the injured-reserve list with a shoulder injury, while T Seantrel Henderson is probably gone as well after being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. RB Karlos Williams returned to practice from a shoulder injury, while TE Charles Clay is day-to-day with a bad back.

The Redskins have their own worries as TE Derek Carrier is gone for the season because of a knee injury, while DE Stephen Paea is on injured reserve with an ailing toe. WR DeSean Jackson didn't practice on Wednesday because of his knee, but he should play on Sunday. T Trent Williams was limited by a toe injury, while DE Jason Hatcher sat because of his neck and knee, but should play.

The Bills are 6-6-1 ATS, including 3-3-1 ATS away from home, while Washington is 6-7 SU and 4-3 ATS in their seven home games. The total comes in at 44 and the Redskins have gone under seven times; the Bills have gone over seven times.

The Bills are 6-4 SU and ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Redskins, who beat the Bills 37-24 in Super Bowl XXVI. In Washington, the Bills are 2-2 SU and ATS.
