Buffalo is 2-2 after a testy loss at home to the New York Giants, but they have to shake that off quickly. They travel to Tennessee, where the 1-2 Titans are coming off a bye.

Opening Odds & Line Movement

The Bills opened up as a 3-point favorite on the road and the NFL odds is at -2.5 for Buffalo, and the sportsbooks are likely still a little skittish on Mariota. While the former Oregon quarterback has looked poised, he is still a rookie and the Bills have the tools to make life difficult for him, even if the defense has been a bit inconsistent so far this season. The Titans have been easing Mariota into the NFL, which is never a bad thing, and it makes you wonder if they'll add a few new wrinkles coming out of the bye to counter what Ryan does with his defense.

Buffalo has some injury worries as RB LeSean McCoy is still out because of his hamstring, and fellow RB Karlos Williams might be joining him on the sideline due to a concussion.  It is getting so bad for the Bills in the backfield that they're bringing Trent Richardson for a tryout. WR Sammy Watkins has a bad calf, and TE MarQueis Gray is out for the season with a broken forearm.

The big news for the Titans is that safety Jason McCourty is supposed to return to action this week as he has sat out due to a groin injury, and that would shore things up at the back. If that is the case, the Titans are pretty healthy going into this game.

The Bills have covered the spread in seven of their last 10 games, including five of their last seven on the road. The Titans have been poor, going 5-17-2 ATS in their last 24, and in their last 15 at home, Tennessee is 2-12-1 ATS. The Titans haven't won at home SU in their last five games.

Tennessee, going back to their days in Houston, are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 against the Bills. Buffalo is 2-7 SU and 4-5 ATS in nine road games against the Tennessee franchise.
