***Broncos vs. Steelers ATS Pick***

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -6.5 -105 at Pinnacle
The Steelers opened as 6.5-point favorites on the NFL odds, then the line dipped to -6 and then -5.5. It went back up to -6 and then -6.5 as the jury is still out on Denver QB Brock Osweiler, who was 35-of-51 for 308 yards in a 15-12 loss at home to Oakland. To be fair to Osweiler, he is still learning and the playcalling isn't letting him do a lot, but he is still a better option than Peyton Manning, who was back at practice this week. The defense will carry the Broncos, but they'll have their hands full against the Steelers, who won a chippy 33-20 game in Cincinnati. Pittsburgh has now scored 30 points or more in five straight games, winning four of those. The matchup is obvious in this game: the Steelers are second in yards gained and fifth in points scored. Denver is first in points allowed and yards allowed. Something has to give on Sunday. However, the Steelers' defense also has to keep Denver's offense in check.

Manning was back at practice, throwing, but he is still out with his ailing foot. RB C.J. Anderson will be a gametime decision with his bad ankle and he didn't practice on Wednesday, but he is expected to play on Sunday.

There are no new injuries to report in Pittsburgh for once, and they received some good news. C Maurkice Pouncey has missed most of the season with a broken fibula, but he could come back at some point this season. That didn't look likely a few weeks ago.

The Broncos are 7-5-1 ATS and 4-2-1 ATS on the road, while the Steelers are 7-4-2 ATS and 4-2-1 ATS at home. The total for this game is set at 45 and the Steelers have gone under eight times. The Broncos have gone under seven times, along with two pushes.

The Steelers are 3-7 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Broncos, who are 5-2 SU and 4-2 ATS in seven visits to Pittsburgh.
