We are already into Week 8 of the NFL Season and we are clearly seeing the contenders from the pretenders. Let's see how this all comes into play when we make our value picks.

Green Bay Packers vs. Denver BroncosPackers Offense vs. Broncos Defense
Peyton Manning might have an arm like a macaroni noodle, but the Broncos have the best defense in the NFL led by Aquib Talib and DeMarcus Ware. Denver is still powerful on offense with weapons such as Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas and can score points on defense. Manning has somehow managed to navigate the Broncos squad to an undefeated record and the Broncos will have their biggest test to date as they face Aaron Rodgers and the undefeated Green Bay Packers.

At this point, Tom Brady has proven to be the best quarterback in the NFL, but Rodgers is a close second. He has managed to lead the Packers to an undefeated record with injured players and a running back in Eddie Lacy, who has played poorly this season as he has been banged up. Even though the Broncos will test Green Bay with their top-rated defense, the spread is low here and the Packers are clearly the better team with Rodgers at quarterback.

NFL Pick:  Green Bay Packers -2.5 (-110) at The Greek

New York Jets vs. Oakland Raiders: Much Improved Football Teams
New and improved coaching in Todd Bowles and Jack Del Rio have made both of these squads much improved. The Jets are a slight favorite in this game as their defense is the difference in this matchup.

The Raiders have definitely improved their offense in quarterback Derek Carr, running back Latavius Murray, and wide receiver Amari Cooper, but this will be a big test for the silver and black.

Cooper is coming off of huge 133 yard receiving game with 1 TD against San Diego in a victory and Murray and Carr also played well.relatively well. The Jets are coming off of a tough battle with the best team in footballl in the New England Patriots and had the Patriots on the ropes, but Tom Brady proved that he's still the best player in the NFL.

A key facet to this game is the running game and Chris Ivory needs to prove that he's healthy as he's upped the level of his game this season into a top level running back. Ryan Fitzpatrick has also fit well into the Jets offensive scheme. Look for New York to pull out a close game and cover the spread.

NFL Pick: New York Jets -3 (-115) at Bet365

Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys: Seahawks Look To Get Back Into Playoff Hunt
Seattle catches an easy one and I hate to say that because when Dallas is at full force, they're far from a pushover. Last week, Dallas gave the Giants a run for their money, but in the end, Matt Cassel couldn't stay away from the turnovers and now he faces the Legion of Boom and a Seattle defense with Kam Chancellor that's very difficult to throw the football against.

Dallas will be forced to run the ball as they go from Randle to Darren McFadden, but I really think it won't matter even if McFadden manages to play well.

Is Dez Back?
Lot's of question marks with the Cowboys and Dez Bryant's status is one of them. If Bryant plays, it's a definite positive for the Cowboys. Dallas is 2-4 and doesn't want to let the playoffs get away from them when Tony Romo eventually returns.

Where the Seahawks are concerned, Russell Wilson has had a difficult time this season in using tight end, Jimmy Graham. This game could come down to the battle of the tight ends between Jason Witten and Graham, but we shall see.

When he was with the Saints, Jimmy Graham was the 2nd best tight end to Rob Gronkowski in the league and Seattle really has misused him. Nontheless, the Cowboys don't have the talent to deal with the Seahawks due to injuries. Take Seattle in this Sunday showdown of two teams that need this game.

NFL Pick: Seattle Seahawks -4.5 (-110)  at BetOnline
