The puzzle is beginning to create a picture as we hit week 12 of the NFL season. Let's take a look at some of the teams that look appealing as they strive for the playoffs with our top picks.

Arizona Cardinals (9-1) vs. Seattle Seahawks (6-4)
It's very rare that you see a team such as the Cardinals that have won 9 out of 10 games and aren't the favorite to win the Super Bowl in future betting and are a sizeable 7.5 point betting underdog against a 6-4 Seahawks team just trying to reach the playoffs. I mean what do the Cards have to do to get some respect?

It's all about injuries as Arizona is playing with a backup quarterback for the rest of the year and now we hear that veteran Larry Fitzgerald is hurt. The Cardinals insist that they're as strong as ever. Today's game will be the proof as they face the defending Super Bowl Champions in their building. Until Arizona proves that they lost a step, I'm making them my pick and there's plenty of value at those NFL odds.

Free NFL Pick: Arizona +7.5

Dallas Cowboys (7-3) at New York Giants (3-7)
The Giants would need to run the table and hope for some luck to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Dallas has had a stellar season with DeMarco Murray dominating at the running back position. The Cowboys need to keep Tony Romo healthy in order to contend for a Super Bowl. They play a Giants team in the Giants building as the fans are calling for Coach Coughlin's head.

Coughlin has done nothing but won 2 Super Bowls. Eli Manning has always had the flair for the dramatics and I expect that here with Rashad

Free NFL Pick: New York +4

Washington Redskins (3-7) at San Francisco 49'ers (6-4)
This is the perfect matchup for a 49'ers team that has not played well and still has a legitimate chance to make it to the playoffs if they don't slip up. On the opposite end of the spectrum for the Skins, head coach Jay Gruden, has put a tremendous amount of pressure on Robert Griffin III to perform or he's out. My first inclination was to take the Niners in this spot, but I do have faith in RGIII. Look for him to come up big here as the Redskins are a bigtime underdog.

Free NFL Pick: Washington +9.5

Cleveland Browns (6-4) at Atlanta Falcons (4-6)
4-6 and in 1st Place? It's very rare that a team such as the Falcons could have the distinction of having the record that they do, playing as poorly as they've played, and be in first place of their respective division; Talk about being lucky.

The Falcons have been an enigma. They have the talent with players like Julio Jones, Roddy White, and even Matt Ryan, but seem to lose ball games. Don't expect them to blow a major opportunity at home and against a quarterback in Brian Hoyer that I have little faith in unless the scenario is right. Take the dirty birds for your Week 12 NFL picks.

Free NFL Pick: Atlanta -3 at 5Dimes

Lean: Green Bay Packers -7.5 Over Minnesota Vikings
There's no Adrian Peterson to save the Vikes against the best offense in the league with the best quarterback in the NFL in Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay has been dominant and should continue their winning ways.
