Before you get into a food-induced coma, check out my top NFL picks, as I have a play on all three of the games today, taking advantage of the some nice looking NFL odds.

Bears vs. Lions
The Bears and Lions kick off this Thanksgiving holiday from Ford Field, and after the Jets and Bills go done tearing up the field Monday, it’s right back in use three days later. The NFL Odds have the Lions as solid -7 favorites, however at 47 points, and on a short week, I am more focused on the total of 47. At 47, the under looks like a great play. Obviously the Bears’ defense hasn’t been great this year, but they have been stopping the run a lot better than in 2013. This will go a long way to help them make the Lions’ offense a little more on dimensional. Even though the Lions will likely destroy the Bears’ secondary, it might help with this score being lower. The under has actually cashed in four of the Bears’ last six games, and for the Lions, the under has cashed in nine of their last ten games this season.

Free NFL Pick: UNDER 47

Eagles vs. Cowboys
After the Bears and Lions get done with the early game, the second course of NFL action for today will be another great divisional matchup. The Cowboys hold a slight -3 edge according to the NFL Odds, with a total that has been steadily rising throughout the week, and it now sits at 56 points. Much like the above game, the total has risen throughout the week for a reason, but I think it’s the wrong one. All four of these teams that play in the early two games can score, but on a short week, and with over value bet out of the totals, the under might be the best play once again for this game. The under has cashed in five of their last seven overall meetings, and even though this is their first matchup this season, the Cowboys’ defense is the best its’ been in those seven games. The under cashed in both of their matchups last season, including a 17-3 games in October. The under is also 3-1-1 in the Cowboys’ last five games against teams with winning records, and the under is also 5-1 in the Eagles’ last six divisional games.

Free NFL Pick: UNDER 56

Seahawks vs. Niners
To finalize Thanksgiving, a huge NFC West game is set to kick off between the Seahawks and Niners. These two teams have a lot to win and/or lose from this game, and with the Cardinals currently running away with the AFC West, one of these teams might not make the playoffs. Whoever wins this game is going to go have much-improved playoff chances, and with the NFL Odds favoring the Niners at -1, I am all over the other side of this one. I understand the Hawks haven’t been playing as well as they did a season ago, but the same could be said about the Niners recently. Even though they have won their last three games, they should have lost the game against the Saints, and their two most recent games they only scored 16 and 17 points against two non-playoff teams.
