Week 2 NFL betting is just around the corner with a jam-packed 14-game slate looming on Sunday. Join us for out last-minute, top NFL picks ATS, SU and Totals.

Week 1 Recap
Last week we spotted three games in this column, picking the Rams to Cover, the Packers to win SU and the Eagles and Falcons to go OVER. Of those, we got two right: Rams pulled off the incredible cover with a 34-31 win over the Seahawks and the Packers proved they were money in the bank over their divisional rivals Chicago Bears once again. Only the Eagles and Falcons failed to crack the 55-point total when they settled on a 26-24 score.

Here’s our offering for week 2 NFL betting: best value NFL picks ATS, SU and Totals.

Best ATS: Patriots +1
The NFL betting lines on this game have been bouncing around like a jo-jo, after opening on 1.5-points against the spread with the Patriots to the good on the road they’ve gone as low as EVEN odds at some sportsbooks and all the way over to the other side of the fence with the Bills emerging as the 1-point home chalk.

The constant movement offers plenty of angles for profit for sharp NFL bettors. Obviously, the reaction to the Bills’ win over the Colts in week 1 NFL betting is partly responsible for the dramatic movements on the NFL odds board. Public is buying what Buffalo is selling and ‘the Bills are the real deal’ is a statement heard in NFL betting circles the entire week.

This game isn’t going to be straightforward given the divisional implications, but when a quality side such as the New England Patriots emerges on the NFL odds board as the underdog the rule of thumb is to grab those points. Case-and-point: Denver Broncos were the 3-point road underdogs against the Chiefs in Thursday Night Football, only to emerge 31-24 winners. Bet the odds makers won’t make Denver road underdogs anytime soon again.

It’s rare to find Super Bowl faves, not to mention defending Super Bowl champions, at the disadvantage, so jump on those NFL odds before they reach their sell-by-date.

Best SU: Cardinals -125
Arizona Cardinals descend on the Chicago Bears in week 2 NFL betting as the road favourites to win outright. Typically, home underdogs warrant better consideration on your NFL picks as a rule, particularly in the early weeks of the new season as bookies don’t always get the faves and underdogs right. However, how can you go against the 2014 Coach of the Year Bruce Arians and his precious Cardinals, a right disciplined bunch that will figure to give Jay Cutler fits. Frankly, at the low price of -125 NFL odds at Westgate, backing the Cardinals to the road win is just too good to pass up.

Best Total: Seahawks vs. Packers to Go OVER 49
One of the biggest takeaways from week 1 NFL betting is the fact that the Legion of Boom isn’t quite so booming this season. St. Louis handed the Seahawks a 34-31 loss on the road to kick-start the season in fine fettle. Indeed, the Seahawks were the only NFC West side to lose its opener. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense were slow out of the gates in Chicago last week, but they found their rhythm eventually to win the game convincingly 31-23. Historical trends between these two outfits reveal that the OVER has cashed in five of the last seven meetings between this pair at Lambeau and the fact that each put up 30-plus points in week 1, chances are the OVER 49 is the best NFL picks.
