The NFL is finally here! Week 1 holds plenty of storylines to follow. Will the first game between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams be a preview of the Super Bowl? How will Baker Mayfield and Russell Wilson look against their former teams?

Here are our top picks for best ATS bets of Week 1(odds via PointsBet and FanDuel Sportsbook).

Best NFL ATS Bets of Week 1

Top NFL ATS Predictions

Ravens -6.5 (-110)

The Baltimore Ravens finished the 2021 season with 22.8 points per game and were third in rushing yards per game (145.8 YPG). That was with quarterback Lamar Jackson missing five games due to injury.

On the other hand, the New York Jets finished last in the league on defense while allowing 29.6 points per game. The Ravens are a lot healthier than last season and should control every aspect of this game.

Eagles -3.5 (-114)

The Detroit Lions drafted Aiden Hutchinson at No. 2 overall to better their defense. However, it may take a few weeks before immediate changes are seen from the unit that allowed 27.5 points per game (31st) last year. The Eagles scored 26.1 points per game, which was 10th best in the league. They now have star wide receiver A.J. Brown on their roster, and quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to make a big leap.

Jared Goff threw 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions, as the Lions finished with the 24th-worst offense. The Eagles are loaded on the offensive and defensive lines and should have no problem in this one.

Jaguars +2.5 (-110)

The Jacksonville Jaguars start a new era with former Super Bowl-winning head coach Doug Pederson. Even though they finished 31st on offense last year, running back Travis Etienne returns from injury to make his first start in the league, and the addition of wide receiver Christian Kirk from the Arizona Cardinals gives last year's first-overall draft pick, quarterback Trevor Lawrence, a quality target to throw to.

The Washington Commanders weren’t much better on offense, finishing 22nd. They now have Carson Wentz at quarterback, but he comes with a huge question mark. Washington also finished 27th on defense, and will be without star defensive lineman Chase Young for the first four games. I like Jaguars to win.
