Ja’Marr Chase says the Cincinnati Bengals are the team to beat. In Week 1, the New England Patriots obliged.

For our Bengals vs. Chiefs parlay prediction, we’re more interested in the game script generated by Cincinnati’s loss to New England than whether it can avoid a 0-2 start when heading to Arrowhead Stadium to take on a familiar foe, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bengals slogged it out with the Patriots, which has also been their preference when taking on Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes in recent years.

SGP predictions for Bengals vs. Chiefs

Our NEW NFL player prop odds tool can help you find the best odds on any market across legal sportsbooks in your area!

Under 48 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although Kansas City has recently won more in the head-to-head battle, the Bengals have successfully limited the Chiefs' dynamic offense. Over the past four matchups, the Chiefs have scored 24, 24, 23, and 25 points.

After the past couple of affairs between these sides have resulted in point totals of 43 and 42, I expect another battle with drawn-out possessions as both sides aim to force the opposing offense into nickel-and-dime matriculation down the field.

Injuries piling up

The Chiefs remain without wideout Hollywood Brown, and the Bengals are expected to play sans Tee Higgins. We won't see many points or possessions in this game between two rivals who know each other's tendencies well.

Most of our best sports betting sites list the total at 48 points. I will avoid FanDuel for this parlay, as they have this number down to 47.5.

But I like the Under as a four-star play down to a total of 47.

Isiah Pacheco Over 66.5 rushing yards (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Part of the reason for predicting a lower-scoring affair is the limited number of possessions. The offenses will get themselves into third-and-manageable scenarios and convert. The Chiefs will lean on Pacheco for that role in this matchup, and I expect him to be successful after what we saw from the Cincinnati run defense last week.

Swiss-cheese Cincy B’s

One factor in the Patriots’ Week 1 upset win over the Bengals was their ability to run the ball on Cincinnati. Rhamondre Stevenson led the charge, dropping 120 rushing yards on 25 carries. Though Pacheco managed just 45 yards on 15 carries against the Ravens in Week 1, this matchup is conducive to his success.

Ja'Marr Chase Over 70.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though he’ll forever be chasing the high of his 11-catch, 266-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Chiefs in January 2022, Chase has still fared solidly against Kansas City since that day.

Late in the following season, Chase racked up 97 receiving yards against the Chiefs and then hit 75 yards in the 2023 AFC Championship Game. Although he didn’t clear 50 yards in his most recent game against KC, the Bengals didn't have Joe Burrow under center.

Talking the talk?

With all the loud talking Chase has been doing this week about the Bengals being the “team to beat in the AFC,” I trust him to back up that talk with some action.

Many of our best sports betting apps list Chase’s receiving line at 70.5 yards as FanDuel gets another strike against it for this parlay, checking in at 71.5 yards.

DraftKings’ +700 odds are the best on the board, so ideally, we’ll play the SGP there. A winning $10 wager on this parlay at DraftKings would profit $70.00.
