Baltimore is a hard team to get a read on as they're 1-4 after losing in overtime to Cleveland, while San Francisco played better in a three-point loss on the road to the Giants.

Opening Odds & Line Movement

Open: -3 +111 at Pinnacle
The Ravens were 3-point favorites on the road when this NFL odds came out, then moved down to -2 before settling on -2.5 for now. Baltimore has lost some close games, so they could be easily 4-1 instead of 1-4. The problem is that they have been losing to teams that they have no business losing to, such as Cleveland and Oakland, and that has to be a concern for head coach John Harbaugh. The 49ers are just a bad football team, but they're not giving up and they gave the Giants a scare last week. That’s why some people saw some value with them.

Injuries
RB Justin Forsett didn't practice for two days this week because of an ankle injury, so he is a worry for the Ravens. However, WR Steve Smith is back in practice with severe back issues and even though he looks a step slower, he would provide a boost for Joe Flacco and the offense. LB Elvis Dumervil (groin) and CB Ladarius Webb (thigh) didn't practice on Thursday, but they should be good to go on Sunday.

For the 49ers, RB Carlos Hyde is nursing a foot injury that could keep him out of this game, while LB Ahmad Brooks won't play as he deals with the death of his sister. TE Vernon Davis was limited this week because of his knee, as was RB Reggie Bush because of his calf.

Trends
The Ravens are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games, and they're 2-3-1 ATS in their last six on the road. The 49ers are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games overall, and just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games at home. Keep an eye on the total of 44, as the Ravens have gone over in four of their last six, while the 49ers have gone under in eight of their last 12.

Baltimore is 6-4 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the 49ers, who are 3-3 SU and 2-3 ATS in their last five home games with the Ravens. This is a rematch of Super Bowl XLVII, which was won 34-31 by the Ravens in New Orleans in the infamous game that had a power outage.
