It’s always tricky being a division favorite when returning from London, which is why sports bettors should play against Dallas in the early going against New York.

Welcome Back
Dallas snapped a two-game losing streak by picking up a 31-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars as 7.5-point favorites in London on Nov. 9, which is important to consider when making your NFL picks, as it enters Week 12 tied atop the NFC East standings with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys will look to establish the run game early in this rivalry matchup, as they possess the league’s second-best rushing attack, with running back DeMarco Murray leading the way.

Over the last two-plus seasons, the franchise is 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS as road favorites of three or fewer points.

Downright Awful
New York will be looking to avenge a 31-21 defeat to Dallas as 4.5-point road underdogs on Oct. 19, which can’t be ignored when looking over the NFL odds, but it has gone 0-5 SUATS in its last five affairs.

The Giants have lost the statistical battle in every game over the course of their losing streak, with much of the disparity coming on the ground—placing added pressure on quarterback Eli Manning to make plays with a young receiving core.

It’s important to point out that the team is a disappointing 6-15 SU and 7-13-1 ATS as underdogs since the start of the 2012 campaign.

Dangerous Spot
The Cowboys certainly deserve to be road favorites in the marketplace, but the five teams that have laid points on the road against division opponents when returning from overseas have failed to cover the number.

Dallas signal-caller Tony Romo had a great opportunity to rest his back during the bye week, as he looks to continue his strong play recently—tossing nine touchdowns and just a single interception in his last four contests.

Bounce-Back Opportunity
Manning tied his career high with five interceptions in last week’s 16-10 defeat to the 49ers as four-point home underdogs, but his team has been known to bounce back next time out.

New York has compiled a 12-6 SU record in those follow up games, as it looks to snap a 0-3 SUATS streak in this series.

Prediction
I’m going to recommend that readers back the Giants in the opening half as their top Sunday Night Football prediction, as I expect the Cowboys to come out sluggish in this situation, especially with a Thanksgiving showdown against the Eagles on deck.
