Arizona is 9-2 & have won five in a row, coming within reach of clinching the NFC West. St. Louis is 4-7, but 3 of those wins have come in their division, including a 24-22 win in Arizona in Week 4.

Opening Odds & Line Movement

The Cardinals have opened up as 5.5-point favorites on the road and that is where the NFL odds have stayed so far. They did what they had to do in a 19-13 win in San Francisco last week and while it wasn't their best performance, that is the mark of a winning team: getting victories when you don't play well. The Rams have lost four in a row after getting thumped 31-7 in Cincinnati, which led a reporter to question the team's effort. Head coach Jeff Fisher had some choice words for him, but in reality, Fisher's job is probably on the line and the team did look very bad against the Bengals. But they do manage to get up for divisional games as they beat Seattle to open the season, then the Cardinals on the road and then San Francisco at home. They might not even need to win this week; the Rams just have to look like they care at the very least.

Arizona has a few injury issues, starting in the backfield. RB Chris Johnson broke his leg and is out for the season, although he might be able to return if the Cardinals get to the Super Bowl. RB Andre Ellington hurt his foot and didn't practice on Wednesday. CB Jerraud Powers also didn't practice because of a strained calf, while DE Cory Redding is still nursing a bad ankle.

The Rams are awaiting word on QB Case Keenum, who has a concussion, while DE Robert Quinn might be able to return from his back injury. K Greg Zuerlein has a groin injury that might keep him out of this game, while CB Trumaine Johnson is dealing with a thigh injury

The Cardinals are 6-5 ATS overall, including 2-3 ATS at home, while the Rams are 4-6-1 ATS, but 1-4-1 ATS on the road. The total has gone from 44 to 43, and the Cardinals are one of two teams to go over eight times (the other is Cleveland). The Rams have gone over just three times.

The two have split their last 10 meetings SU, with Arizona covering six times. In St. Louis, the Cardinals are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS.
