Arizona & Seattle are coming off byes, with the 6-2 Cardinals leading the 4-4 Seahawks in the NFC West. But if the Cards are going to be the new division kings, the road has to go through Seattle.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -3 -108 at Pinnacle
This NFL odds opened up as the Seahawks as a field-goal favorite at home and it hasn't moved, which is fair. The Cardinals have been great this season, while the Seahawks haven't played to their potential. This is all about history as the Seahawks have been at the top of the NFC for the last two seasons, winning the Super Bowl two years ago and letting last year slip through their fingers against New England. The Arizona offense is third in the league in yards and second in points, while Seattle's renowned defense has underwhelmed, yet they're second in yards and points allowed. While that matchup gets all the attention, Seattle's offense needs to get going as they're 24th in points scored; Arizona's defense is seventh on the other end. The meaning of this game can't be understated for both teams.

Injuries
For the Cardinals, C Lyle Sendlein missed practice with a shoulder injury and that would be a huge blow for Arizona against Seattle's pass rush. But he was the only player missing in practice for Arizona, so that is encouraging.

WR Ricardo Lockette suffered a neck injury against Dallas before the bye week and is now out for the season, but that's about it for the Seahawks. Both teams are coming in almost at 100%, which will make the game that much better.

Trends
The Cardinals have covered the spread in five of eight games this season, including three of four on the road. The Seahawks are 2-5-1 ATS overall, and they're 1-2 ATS at home. The total for this NFC West showdown is set at 45, down from 45.5, and the Cardinals have gone over six times this season; the Seahawks have gone under five times.

The Seahawks have dominated this matchup, going 7-3 SU and ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Cardinals. In Seattle, Arizona is 3-7 SU and ATS, scoring 20 points in their last three combined trips. This includes a 58-0 massacre in 2012, but to their credit, the Cardinals won 17-10 in Seattle in 2013.
