It’s the first weekend of the NFL wildcard playoff round, and there is a ton of NFL Odds value. One way to mix up your NFL Picks is to utilize prop bets both team and player.

Cardinals O/U 14.5 points
The Cardinals have gotten a rough hand two years in a row. Last year they won 10 games and did not make the playoffs, and this year they lost their starting quarterback and running back, and barely made the playoffs after leading the NFL in wins most of the season. Now they have a first round matchup against the Panthers this week, and sportbooks have the Cardinals’ team total at only 14.5 this week. While the Cardinals’ offense has struggled this season, outside of the last few weeks, the Panthers’ defense hasn’t been great either. If the Cardinals can find the end zone once or twice, and kick a field goal or two, this total is going 'over,' and I am jumping aboard with my NFL picks. Ryan Lindley should play well enough to keep the Cards’ competitive in this lower scoring game, and while it might be close, the Cardinals might have some sneaky value here in their team total.

Free NFL Pick: Cardinals OVER 14.5 (-110)

Cardinals vs. Panthers O/U 3.5 FGs
Staying in the same game, the Cardinals and Panthers have a total well below 40 points this week, and in games like this, we could see some field goals kicked in this game. The Panthers’ offense should be able to score on the Cardinals, but in the red zone they might have some issues. The same could be said about the Cardinals’ offense here, and with all of this considered, a kicking game could be in store for the first playoff game. The Panthers have one of the better kickers of the wildcard weekend in Graham Gano, and the Cardinals’ kicker, Chandler Caranzaro isn’t bad either. Caranzaro has made seven field goals in the Cardinals’ last three games, and Gano has done the same thing for the Panthers in their last three. Both guys have 29 field goals on the year, and I see both of them getting a couple of made field goals in this game.

Free NFL Pick: OVER 3.5 FGs (+120)

Bengals vs. Colts first to 10 points
The first Sunday game of the Wildcard weekend should be a good one between the Bengals and Colts. However it is a tough game to handicap. Both offenses have struggled heading into the playoffs, and while one defense is trending upward, one is not. With the Colts’ defense starting to revert back to their old ways, as long as Andy Dalton doesn’t start this game out slow, they could get to 10 points first. The problem is AJ Green is looking doubtful for this game, which takes away virtually the only deep threat the Bengals have at their disposal. However even with their quick strike weapon gone, I still think they can get to 10 points before the Colts. Their NFL odds to do so are very good at +110, and even on the road, the Bengals’ run game is going to have no problem moving the ball on the Colts. Take the value with the Bengals to get to 10 points first.

Free NFL Pick: Bengals 1st to 10 points (+110)
