We have been cruising to start the season with our NFL team and player prop picks and with some pending here on Sunday afternoon, I am back to release two more plays for the Sunday night showdown.

Alshon Jeffery to score a TD
We go to BetOnline for our first play of the day and it’s the Bears’ Alshon Jeffery. Right now the Bears’ number one receiver has +130 odds to score a touchdown tonight against the Cowboys and while there are a few downsides to this play, the upside and NFL Odds value is so good it’s hard to pass up.

Jay Cutler is doubtful, but even if he doesn’t play, Jeffery is going to be targeted heavily in this one. The Cowboys will likely be playing with a lead if all goes to plan and if that’s the case, Jeffery’s chances of getting some garbage time looks are great.

Even if the Bears are playing with the lead, or keeping it close, with Jeremy Langford not playing well to start the season, the Bears might not have any other options. Throwing the ball 40 times against this Dallas defense might be the only way they stay in the game.

In my opinion, Jeffery only has a slightly worse chance of scoring a touchdown compared to Ezekiel Elliott, who has odds of -175 to score a touchdown tonight. I don’t care who is at QB for the Bears, with the way their running game is struggling, Jeffery will get his share of red zone and even goal line targets.

Jeremy Langford O/U 55.5 rushing yards
Jeremy Langford has been struggling some to start the season and there has been word out of Chicago that they might start to give Kadeem Carey more looks. However, he has been ruled out for the Bears this week, which means that Langford is going to get all the touches he can handle this week.

Even though he has struggled, the Cowboys’ rushing defense hasn’t exactly been great either. The Giants, who don’t have much of a running game, averaged 4.7 yards per carry against the Cowboys, while the Redskins were even better last week at 4.8 yards per carry.

With no one to challenge Langford for running touches tonight, he should easily see 15-18 carries as long as the Bears aren’t getting blown out in this one. I doubt they are, so assuming he can improve against this questionable Dallas defense, take the over here at add it to your prop picks for Sunday Night Football.
