49ers vs. Giants Player Prop Bets: Best Week 9 Player Props & TD Predictions

Christian McCaffrey is in line for a huge bounce back performance against a weak Giants’ rush defense.

My best 49ers vs. Giants player prop bets for Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET (CBS) game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., focus on Christian McCaffrey, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and George Kittle. The 49ers are favored by 2.5 points.

The Giants have one of the worst rush defenses in the league, which is why McCaffrey having a huge game is one of my favorite NFL picks of the week. Continue reading for more about Tracy and Kittle. And for more on this game, check out our NFL predictions for Week 9.

💵 Best 49ers vs. Giants player prop bets

  • Christian McCaffrey player prop: Over 131.5 rushing and receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Tyrone Tracy Jr. player prop: Under 57.5 rushing yards (-115 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • George Kittle to score a touchdown (+130 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

💰 Best 49ers vs. Giants player props

⬆️ Christian McCaffrey Over 131.5 rushing and receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Giants have the third-worst rush defense, allowing 148.9 rushing yards per game. Though McCaffrey’s rushing total is set at just 76.5 yards, he’s only topped that number once this year, making this combined total the safer play.

McCaffrey leads the 49ers in both rushing and receiving yards, and he’s managed at least 139 total yards in five of his eight games. While he had a season-low 68 yards last week, he was against the league’s fourth-best defense. FanDuel’s price implies a 53.27% chance that McCaffrey hits this Over. A $10 bet would profit $8.77.

💡 NFL expert picks for Week 9

⬇️ Tyrone Tracy Jr. Under 57.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tracy is back in the starting role after Cam Skattebo’s injury, but he’s yet to rush for more than 46 yards in a game this season. He’s also averaging just 3.5 yards per carry. While the 49ers are allowing 107.9 rushing yards per game, they’re only allowing 4.0 yards per carry, 13th-best in the league.

BetMGM has this total set much higher than some other sportsbooks, as DraftKings has the number set at 51.5. The price of -115 implies a 53.49% chance that Tracy hits this Under. A $10 wager would profit $8.70.

6️⃣ Best touchdown scorer prediction for 49ers vs. Giants

🔥 George Kittle to score a touchdown (+130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last week, Kittle caught four of five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown against the fourth-best pass defense in football. He’s caught a touchdown in two of three games, and now he takes on a defense that has allowed four touchdowns to tight ends this season.

The bet365 price of +130 implies a 43.48% chance that Kittle scores, which seems low considering seven of the 49ers’ 12 passing touchdowns have been caught by tight ends this season. A $10 wager would profit $13.
