The Los Angeles Rams face the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's NFC Championship Game. We have two previous meetings this season between these divisional rivals with which to form our 49ers-Rams NFC Championship same-game parlay picks.

Last week, we provided a four-leg parlay in our Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers picks that hit at +340 odds. Other sites might be offering long shots with crazy odds, but our goal is to provide you with some realistic outcomes that can result in a nice payday.

With the 49ers facing the Rams for the third time, there's a lot of history to draw upon for prop leans. We have a five-leg NFC Championship same-game parlay that pays out with +1200 odds.

Here are my same-game parlay picks and predictions for the NFC Championship between the 49ers and Rams (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

49ers vs. Rams SGP Predictions

49ers +3.5

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've heard that the Niners have won the last six head-to-head matchups with the Rams, including a 27-24 overtime victory in Week `18 that stamped San Francisco's ticket to the playoffs.

The Rams let the 49ers in and now their rivals stand in their way of making another trip to the Super Bowl.

Clearly, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has a coaching advantage over his adversary on the Rams' sideline, Sean McVay. San Francisco represents a stylistic matchup nightmare for L.A. While the Rams are known for splash plays and an opportunistic defense, the Niners do their best work in the trenches and dominate the time of possession.

The 49ers have found a way to prevail over the Rams in all kinds of manners. They overcame a 17-0 deficit in L.A. three weeks ago, ran the ball down the Rams' throats with an 18-play drive in a 31-10 victory in Week 10, and even won last season with Nick Mullens at quarterback.

This game should be much closer to a pick'em. Have confidence that the Niners can keep this game within a field goal.

Garoppolo 1-plus INTs

The 49ers have enjoyed their current run of success despite the underwhelming quarterback play of Garoppolo.

Jimmy G has thrown at least one interception in four consecutive games with six total picks in that span. That includes two interceptions in the aforementioned Week 18 victory over L.A.

Though Shanahan would love nothing more than to pound the ball with his No. 7-ranked running game on every offensive snap, Garoppolo will have to make a clutch throw or two on Sunday.

He completed 23 of 32 passes for 316 yards and a touchdown in that comeback over the Rams, but ballhawk Jalen Ramsey and safety Taylor Rapp also ended up on the other end of a couple of passes. He completed just 11 of 19 passes in the divisional-round upset of the Green Bay Packers, threw a crippling red-zone interception, and a number of other awful throws should have been picked off as well.

Playing with a torn ligament in his right thumb and a sprained throwing shoulder, the odds are in our favor that the Rams will come down with at least one errant pass.

Stafford 1-plus INTs

Stafford has fared much better in these playoffs.

The Rams quarterback shared the league lead in interceptions during the regular season with 17, but he has thrown for 568 yards, four touchdowns, and no picks so far this postseason.

However, Stafford was picked eight times in the four games prior and has thrown four interceptions when facing the 49ers this season.

Jump on the likelihood of one interception at almost even odds for our 49ers-Chiefs picks.

Kupp anytime TD

Some books (foolishly) placed opening odds of Kupp scoring an anytime touchdown in the divisional round at +100.

The league leader in receiving touchdowns (rightfully) has the shortest odds to score in the NFC title game. The Rams wideout scored in all but six games this season. That includes the 31-10 loss to the Niners in November.

However, Kupp has 18 grabs on 20 targets against San Francisco this season. If the Rams are going to score on Sunday, it will likely be against a secondary that had to play Josh Norman one-on-one with Packers star Davante Adams for a couple of snaps last weekend.

Samuel alternative rushing yards Over 34.5

We'll round out our NFC Championship same-game parlay with a look at Samuel's props.

The 49ers wideout has been moonlighting as a running back since Week 10 and he has proven to be a game-changer in that role. The Over on Samuel's rushing props cashed in each of the past three weeks. As a result, the opening line this week is at 41.5 yards.

It took until the final play of last week's game for Samuel to hit the Over on 38.5 yards, despite rushing the ball 10 times. Rather than bank on him to top 40 yards, the alternative line of 34.5 is much more palatable and boosts our NFC Championship same-game parlay to a $1,200 return on a $100 bet.

5-leg same-game parlay picks: 49ers +3.5 + Garoppolo 1-plus INTs + Stafford 1-plus INTs + Kupp anytime touchdown + Samuel alternative rushing yards Over 34.5 = +1200
