The San Francisco 49ers could be the hottest team in the league coming off their win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Green Bay Packers ran themselves a great regular-season campaign and are ready to roll after a refreshing bye week. We break down Saturday's Divisional Round contest with our 49ers-Packers prop picks.

While the spread is very tempting, I do think there are some great ways to take advantage of player props and make some money on Saturday. I think Packers QB Aaron Rodgers should light it up through the air, perhaps throwing to his new tight end, and 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel should continue to rack up yards on the ground.

Here are my top prop picks for Saturday’s matchup between the 49ers and Packers (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top 49ers vs. Packers Prop Picks

Deebo Samuel Over 38.5 rushing yards (-115) ????Josiah Deguara anytime TD (+350) ??Aaron Rodgers Over 264.5 passing yards (-115) ?????

Top 49ers vs. Packers Prop Predictions

Samuel Over 38.5 rushing yards (-115)

Sorry, still not high enough.

That was me talking to oddsmakers, who have been steadily increasing Samuel's rushing prop over the past month or so as he takes on a role as a legitimate running back with San Francisco.

The fact is, the 49ers have been getting the ball in his hands out of the backfield more and more as the stakes get higher. He rushed seven times against the Houston Texans in Week 17, eight times in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams, and 10 times for 72 yards against the Cowboys last week. He averaged 6.6 carries per game for 42.9 yards in the last eight weeks of the regular season, and he ripped off 72 yards on 10 carries last week.

The Packers don’t have the world’s best rushing defense, down in 28th in DVOA against the run. There are no good reasons why Samuel can’t hit this prop with just a couple of touches.

Deguara anytime TD (+350)

I just think this price is way off on Deguara, who has been elevated to starting tight end this season with the injury to Robert Tonyan.

The 49ers have had a whale of a time against tight ends this season, sitting in a tie for third place in red-zone targets given up to opposing tight ends with 25. They’ve allowed six touchdowns in total, and one more could come on Saturday.

Deguara scored in Week 18 against the Detroit Lions, and he received at least three targets in each of his last six games. I don’t think it’s inconceivable that he could score, potentially getting a target off of a play-action fake near the goal line. This is a hard one to throw in a same-game parlay, but a worthwhile straight shot to take.

Rodgers Over 264.5 passing yards (-115)

The 49ers ranked 16th in DVOA against the pass this year, and it’s been a while since they’ve seen someone of Rodgers’ caliber. I expect the vet to have himself a day.

Last year in the playoffs, Rodgers went for 296 yards and 346 yards in his two starts. The year before, 243 and 326. The year before that, 362, 355, and 287. The bottom line is that whenever the playoffs hit, Rodgers decides he’s going to throw the ball.

If you throw away his half-game in Week 18, Rodgers hit this Over in six of his last seven games. He has the soft matchup. Why not slam this Over?

Same-game parlay odds: Samuel Over 39.5 rushing yards + Deguara anytime TD + Rodgers Over 254.5 yards = +1000
