The Horizon Conference features a mismatch as the Green Bay Phoenix host the Youngstown State Penguins. These teams have already met before and Green Bay won by 13 points on the road. Why should the betting public expect anything different in this game as Green Bay is at home and a double-digit betting favorite?

Youngstown State Penguins (8-12) vs Green Bay Phoenix (11-7)

Penguins is a very fitting name for Youngstown State as they're as cold as ice and have dropped their last 3 games. As for Green Bay, this is a team that's been very successful in the Horizon Conference, winning 5 ouf of 6 games and have won 7 out of their last 8 games overall. As mentioned earllier, the Phoenix defeated Youngstown 90-77 on the road earlier in the season and that's a perfect barometer for determining the outcome of this game.

Total Team Effort

In the first matchup between these two teams this season, Green Bay had one of their best games of the season as they shot 52.4% from the  field, 46.7% from 3-point range, had 40 rebounds, 25 assists, and 11 assists for the game. When a team can rack up 25 assists for a game at any level, that's a major accomplishment and proves that they know how to work as a cohesive unit.

"Super Cooper"

Charles Cooper came off of the bench with an economical 22 points and 10 rebounds in just 26 minutes played. Cooper is a huge part of this Green Bay offense and is coming off of his worst performance of the season, a 3 point game on 1 of 7 shooting from the field in an 80-56 loss to Valparaiso. Expect a bounceback effort from Cooper as Youngstown State doesn't have the talent on defense to contain him.

Cameron Morse

For the Penguins, nobody has been able to "Crack the Morse Code" as Morse leads Youngstown State, averaging 22.4 points per game. He lit up UIC for 40 points recently but most of Morse's production comes off of the high volume of shots that he takes each game as he's hovering around the 40% mark from the field. Nonetheless, Youngstown State will need his production in a game that appears to be an uphill climb.
